ピルカッターといえばこれ、というくらい長く愛用している商品です。Ezy Doseのものをずっと探していましたが、輸入品だからか、当時よりずいぶん高くなってしまって、ようやくAmazonで手頃な価格で発見できたので、今回は複数個まとめて購入しました。 薬をしっかりホールドしてくれる構造で、ヒンジ側にかけてわずかに傾斜がついているため、大きめの錠剤や割線のないものでも安定してきれいにカットできます。 薬を保管できる小さなポケットや、安全ロック付きで不用意に開かない工夫もされており、実用面でもとてもよくできています。海外製（おそらくアメリカ）らしく、しっかりしたつくりです。 粉が素材に付着しやすい点はありますが、使用後に軽く洗って水分を丁寧に拭き取れば問題なく使えます。刃の部分は湿ったままにしないようにはしています。 愛猫の投薬にも使うつもりです。

1. With the lid open and the hook of the pin facing the hinge, push the locking pin into the slot until it clicks. 2. Push the lid down until it clicks to CLOSE. 3. Push the hook of the pin in and lift the lid to OPEN. I've bought two for others and two for myself. Cutting can be impacted by the type/size of pill, placement, how/if the cutter is held, and how the lid is closed. Overall, it's effective. Though it's not perfect every time, it's better than other cutters I have used. The locking pin will stay in place when utilized but can be stored in the cutter as well.

The blue coloured holding part seems to be rubber which is not hold small pills and pills move when cutting due to the flexible rubber
