No. A CT cannot be used to measure DC amps.

Will this work with 24v on the switch leg with 120v 10 amp motor in the CT?

Your question doesn't include the main ingredient. As far as I know, it's the current through the switch that will cause failure. I avoided the problem by using a relay to handle the load. I hope this helps.

Can i switch a 20 watt ac (led or cfl) on/off using the"k1,k2" contacts? it works, but for how long- design for it? k1,k2= solid state relay/mosfet.

The k1, k2 contacts aren't rated for much of a load. To be on the safe side, I used the contacts to power a small relay and let the relay handle the load.

I concerned about the switch toggling off-on-off repeating. does this unit have a switch on/off delay, I'd like about 5 minutes of delay

It doesn't have a lockout or a time delay, it's on or off. I haven't had a problem with it kicking on and off. The application I'm using it for is a pump on a sand filter reading that amps to know if and when it looses its prime, to turn a light on to get people's attention.
