Always fresh and very few broken shells.

The turn around time from ordering to receiving was excellent. Outward appearance of the Walnuts is also excellent. Have not begun to seriously "crack" the Walnuts, however the ones I have were fresh and tasted good, as for value having purchased other bulk nuts, if these provided the ratio that the others have then the are a real bargain.

I waited until October to order, knowing harvest starts as early as late August and is done by early November. Obviously, these are last year's (fall 2021), with a Best Buy date of December 2022. The inside of the bag is very dusty, with the viewing window translucent, not transparent. It has a mild rancid odor, which tastes bad and is unhealthy. I am sensitive to spoiled fats; some buyers might not notice. I wanted in-shell so they'd store well and for better flavor. I tried three. The first was decayed. The second tasted pretty good, much better than the supermarket standard. I wondered what it was like a year ago. The third had a slight rancid odor. The bag weighed 48 ounces. This might be a great product if it really were "current crop".

They are fresh. I tasted them. But I feed the squirrels in my hood. They love them.

This item was ordered and delivered as a Christmas gift for a friend. She tells me that she is very satsfied with the contents.

Loved the product, but as everyone does, I wish it were cheaper; that being said, it was worth the fee to me...hopefully this product will not increase horribly in the following days due to the situations, ecological, social and medical, that we all face.

Don’t forget you have to roast these... but the flavor is so good after roasting! I have 16 grandkids. I picked nutsmeats out after roasting dor 20 minutes, put pennies, dimes nickels and quarters inside and glue 2 pieces together after adding a colorful ribbon. After all gift area clean, get a hammer and brick and one by one each kiddo cracks open with hammer. Coins retrieved. The one with the most total $$ gets a penny. The one with the least gets a dollar bill. Tell a story about respect for money and wisdom to use properly. I am 77 and hope my grandkids pass On This tradition my grandfather shared with us as grandkids so many years ago. Nut meats went into recipes or became little ziplock bags full for Christmas gifts for others to use in baking.

Our family of tame squirrels are (ahem) NUTS for this product, choosing them as their favorites over the hazelnut/filberts that I also ordered, the peanuts which we buy from our local farm store, and unsalted mixed nuts. Our local delivery guy doesn't know it yet, but he's going to be making many more stops here in the very near future. Walnuts were ripe, appealing to the eye, with very few cracked or broken. Hopefully, the squirrel family, (Earl, his wife Pearl, and kids Burl, Merle, Girly, Curly, and the twins Darryl and Nutkin) won't mind if I take enough to place in a bowl with a nutcracker for the humans. We have attracted a pure black squirrel to our neighborhood lately; an anomaly here in the Pacific NW. It's gotta be Presto Sales walnuts! Now, where can I buy acorns? No oak trees here in WA... ;~D
