I had 2 light blue rugs in the bathroom and they always looked dirty. I think it is because we both have black bottom tennis shoes.These are a dark rich purple and you can see the tiger design faintly as the light hits it.They are solid and hold in place so well that you can vacuum the rug, or sweep it and it doesn't move. My other rug would have been sucked up into the vacuum. They are not super super plush but they are solid. i am very happy I got them. The only con is that mine are dark purple and they sold cat hair and it looks bad.
