XDS - White

These Balls are no Joke! I enjoy golfing, and tend to golf any where between 20-30 rounds a year. Im a fairly consistent bogie golfer, shooting between 83-88 on most outings. I know that I will never be a par golfer, nor do I desire to be on the pro tour. However, it always feels good when you do hit below you average and score lower than you normally would. In my case, scoring an 80 or 81 would be a great outing. I usually hit the ball pretty straight off the tee and can usually hit it 225 yards or so. but I do tend to get a slight slice or fade here and there. Ive always just played it and tried to us the natural fade as a strength and for the most part it has worked. This summer I saw these balls on amazon and started reading about them, and yes, they are technically illegal, but im not a pro, not competing for money or any where near a national level. so I figured what the heck, ill give em a try. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in these balls, they have added 40-50 yards to my drive, and the ball flies straighter and truer than I could of ever imagined. I have dropped a consistent 4 to 6 strokes a round off my game, I have hit 77, 78, 79. Like I said, I know there not a ball you could use on tour, but if your not competing and playing for fun, these balls are fantastic and really do work. With all that said, I caution 1 thing. When you first start using these balls, you will most likely do what I did and want to compare them against your callaway or what have you. the feel of these balls are going to be a bit different. not that its bad or feels way off. just different, like a callaway super soft is going to feel different than a Nike crush. it will take a bit to get use to them, but you will and when you do, as long as the arrow on the ball is pointed the way you are hitting, the polara ball will fly far and it will fly straight and it will beat out any ball you have in your bag, I tested and compared against every brand of ball I have and polara won in distance and straightness every time. Once you get use to the feel, I found even putting with the ball is superior.

I have been inconsistent with the driver forever. Some days I hit it ok to good, other days I slice the heck out of it. When I align the arrow to the left of the fairway, I hit it nragly perfectly straight. I played 9 holes with them last Friday and I hit almost every fairway. I shot a legit 43...I normally would be closer to 50 due to having to punch out from under the trees a bunch. I did not notice a loss of distance with irons - I still hit stock PW about 110, 7 iron about 145. The roll true on the greens and I still got a bit of bite/spin with the lob wedge. I played a full 18 a few days later and didn't score as well - putting was bad - but I still hit more than half of the fairways and the ones I missed were because I aimed too far left and the ball went where I aimed it. I play for fun, so I don't feel any kind of way about using a 'non conforming' ball. They are more expensive than I like - I have been using Costco balls, but honestly they improve my experience quite a bit so worth it If you struggle to hit fairways because of a slice, give these a go.

Yeap....that ball in the middle of the fairway....that's me. First of all, if your ball flight is immediately slicing, it may not work for you. My regular ball usually doesn't start fading until it travels about 100 yards, then it usually takes a sharp turn. You gotta be able to hit the ball somewhat straight for this ball to work. Off the tee, it feels like my Nike distance balls. It sounds great too. I usually only line up the arrow when I'm teeing off or putting. My golf buddies were impressed by the ball and are looking to buy some themselves. I'm liking the ball. I'm finding more fairways and I'm not losing distance. On the green, the ball bites pretty good. I left some monster divots with this ball. My only complaint is that it seems like it doesn't break like a regular ball. I'm a recreational mid handicapper. I don't play in competition, so this ball works out nicely for me on the weekends. This ball is meant to be used with a 9.5 degree loft driver off the tee, but I'm sure a higher degree driver will work too. The ball is expensive, but if you can save on balls by not losing them in the trees or water, it's well worth it.

The golf ball is OK, but not worth the price. I had a problem with my slice but I was able to fix it. Work on hitting the ball straight and you won’t need to spend the he $ on these. You lose distance and the ball goes somewhat straight but not worth the price.

I saw a video on YouTube a month ago about these balls. I thought, 'why not, it's not like my slice can get any worse'. Today was the first time I got to hit them. I played 18 holes and shot my best game ever. Right away on the first tee, I knew I had sliced it, but the ball went straight. I could tell right then that these things actually work. So on the 2nd tee, I decided to try and kill it like I always do. The ball went about 280 and went to the right just a little bit off the fairway. I was still happy. The 3rd tee was where I only lost my one ball foot the day. I pulled it left and if it was any other ball, it would've made its way back onto the fairway, but this Polara kept going left and into a canal. Every other time I hit the ball with my driver, it went right where I was aiming which was straight down the fairway. My longest drive of the day was 307 and dead straight. You can see that the ball wants to go left right off the club head, but then it straightens itself out. I switched the ball back to my Calloways for my iron and putting shots so I dont have an opinion about how it works with those clubs. Just because my drives were finally going straight, my whole game elevated. I became more confident in my shots with my other clubs which allowed me to have more fun. I was very skeptic, but the ball does everything it says it will do.

The first few holes they worked good. If the wind picks up they fly crazy. I was very dissatisfied with the quality. If you hit them with a iron it will cut the shell. I had one to get cut with one hit of a driver.

Here's the short version...It's a good ball, but it's not going to change your game. Longer version: Pros: - Very soft, had a good feel around the green (great spin) - Didn't seem to hinder distance at all (as claimed with the previous models) - Price isn't bad - Very good feel off the club Cons: - I found it annoying that I had to constantly "aim" the ball. Several times I would tee it up, address the ball, then realize it's a few degrees off.....re-tee it, etc. - I love that it is a very soft shell, but I slightly cut/scuffed the shell of two different balls just from hitting them (no cart paths, trees, etc.). I suspect it is just from having some sand or dirt on the club when I hit. - I bought a dozen for my father and a dozen for me. Neither of us really noticed any correction of ball path. Conclusion: It's not a bad ball. It's very soft, yet still hits a good distance. Playing these balls, I've had some good shots...and I've had some bad shots. Just to give it an honest shake, I alternated several holes between Polaras and Pro V1s. I think I slightly preferred the Pro V1s. The Pro V1 is quite a bit more expensive than the Polara, but my point is that I think a high quality conventional golf ball can still out perform Polara. On a dollar for dollar comparison, the Polara feels a little better than a comparatively priced conventional ball. So it's not a bad buy. I gave it four stars based on that. But if you are expecting a revolutionary ball that you can't hook or slice no matter how hard you try....you will likely be disappointed. It's fun to mix it up a little and give these balls a run, so I'm glad I tried them. But I won't be hitting them religiously. Mainly because I don't want to have to aim it before every shot. I do seem to stick these to the green or even back them up occasionally. So that was pretty cool. *For reference, I am not a great golfer. I usually score between 90-100 on most courses. I don't have a consistent hook or slice...but I still hit my fair share of both. I probably spend 60-70% of my shots on the fairways or greens. So the rough and I are well acquainted. So take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Absolute nonsense. These down NOTHING to self correct, I'm a 17 handicapper, and the ball just goes the same as every other ball, just shorter. Your mileage may vary.

曲がらないボールと思っただけで、スタートホール安心感で打てます。後は、普通のボールに変えますが、あまり飛距離は、でません。やはりスライスは、スライスです。

WORKS GREAT. Helps a lot of the trajectory of the ball. Still, if you hit it really, really bad you'll lose it - but overall it's a great ball for someone who needs just a little help to not be ripping their hair out on the course!

Vielleicht Einbildung, fliegen aber meistens gerade

Bon produit, corrige la slice, mais faut frapper droit. Même si on aligne la balle vers le centre de l'alliée sur le tee, la balle ne se dirige pas au centre automatiquement quand on la frappe. Par contre, parfois si on en echape une, avec une grosse slice, cette balle corrige vraiment. Lors des trois partie où je les ai essayée, aucune de mes slices a envoyée la balle hors limite. J'ai quand même frapper dans le bois... une frappe avec la face du baton mal alligné, genre un coup tiré, vas etre tiré la balle ne va pas slicer, elle va aller filer tres droite et.. dans le bois.
