Perfect for newer farmhouse fixtures with glare in your eyes .
We started out with a new pendant fixture and wanted the Edison retro bulbs for the authentic look , but the crazy glare was way too much and we did not want to put in a dimmer switch . These bulbs saved the day ,with halfway painted bottom in a gold trim . A perfect solution to the problem ,They still have a retro look without the glare .

Beautiful Bulbs
These bulbs are beautiful. I used them in a hanging lamp to keep from blinding anybody looking up at the lamp. The half mirror does decrease the luminous power especially in a hanging lamps, but the aesthetic is amazing.

These are the worst LED bulbs ever
I have taken deliver of 8 bulbs and in less than a month 3 of them stopped working. They get bright suddenly then flicker and go out. I have one from a replacement order received this week that is very dim. I will never purchase them again

Just too dim for counter space, but nice quality
Got these for pendants over the kitchen island to cut the light in one's eyes while looking across to one another, but just not bright enough for that working space. Nice quality and attractive otherwise. Worked as described, just didn't create enough indirect light. Not sure if these toes of bulbs come just slightly less dipped?

These are the best!
If you have a ceiling fan in your room with open light bulbs staring right at your face when you're lying in bed; these are the light bulbs you'll need!

Don't last
All bulbs died within a matter of months. I wrote down the date when I screwed in the last bulb and it was March 25. The bulb died June 19. They suddenly become dim and then dimmer on the same day until completely unusable. Very unfortunate considering that they were perfect for a clip on shade with an open top and would prevent glare.

Initially happy with this purchase, now after one year, only one of four bulbs is still working.
The gold ends of the bulbs match the light fixture nicely. They look good off as well as on. Reduction of light directly into the eyes is enough that I can now watch TV without turning off the lights.Was perfect for my application.
