CASTLECREEK Diamond North American Cedar Log Bed, Queen

I ordered a Queen size log bedframe with the diamond pattern, and everything came in one box. The instructions were easy to follow, and one person can put it all together, but it helps to have two when doing the small pieces for the diamond pattern. Also, the instructions say to "screw" the small pieces to the headboard and footboards, but there are only nails provided and the packing list also only shows nails included, so they aren't missing. We found it easier to use 2" screws and a drill to install these pieces, so that's what we did. It's very sturdy and exactly what I wanted. We easily stained it after it was assembled.

Good quality cedar log frame. A bit difficult to assemble by one person but very nice looking and sturdy.

It looks really nice and I love it! Just note that you need a socket set for the bolts. Also they didn't include the 2" nails, but I don't even think they were necessary. I assembled most of it alone and just needed help with the 4 bolts. It is very sturdy! I got a wooden bunkie board from Amazon because a box spring would raise the mattress too high. It is a nice way to have a cabin feel without having something custom made for three times the price.

This bed was easy to put together. If you’ve never assembled anything before it may take a little longer. My husband and and I put this together in 30 minutes. It’s beautiful and we love it. This is natural wood so some splitting or knots is normal. We finished ours with a beeswax for butcher block to bring out the natural color and beauty. Could not be happier with the product or service.

It took me a couple of hours to put this bed frame together. It’s an easy assembly but the final product is not all that impressive. Instead of sending 2 inch nails, they sent 2 inch screws. I guess it’s easier just to add to the number of 2 inch screws already being sent for another part of the assembly. Screws really don’t work for securing joints. Also the diagonal wood design parts of the head and footboard don’t fit together as pictured in the instructions as there are gaps between the pieces in the final product as well as numerous screws sticking out from the wood a bit. It would have helped to have had countersunk holes for these screws. Finally I hope I never have to move bc this bed cannot be taken apart.

I ordered a queen, they sent a King... It never dawned on me until I had it halfway together- there is no size indication anywhere that I could find. The included nails are a necessity, otherwise this will just fall apart. A word of caution though: Get it all together before anchoring anything because the design has a lot of wiggle room. I nailed the mattress supports to the sides before putting the headboard and footboard on and had to start over because the headboard was a little wider than the mattress supports. Aside from having to spend an extra $150 for a mattress, this isn't a horrible bed frame

Very easy to put together we use wood screws to put it together. It’s better than using the nails because it move you just unscrew it. Once done it looks great. Would buy another one
