Vaultz Locking Security Box, Combination Safe for Valuables & Cash, Black

We ordered this to use at Scout Camp for holding medications for scouts. It was the perfect size for the 8 scouts attending. The combination lock was perfect since there were multiple leaders needing to provide medications to the scouts. Not having to worry about a key made it much easier. We liked that it did not advertise the contents and could have easily been mistaken for a gear box. It held up well for an entire week of tent camping out in the elements. Will definitely use again for future campouts and at summer camp again next year.

It's smaller than I thought but that's ok

This lock box is exactly what I expected. I knew upon purchase not to expect a high quality lock box. In my opinion it is mid level not necessarily meant to keep someone out if they are intent on getting in. Only to lock and keep something private. Locks well, fits what I need.

I love the way this box sits upright and has so much space inside. I can fit all of my prescriptions and my transparent dressing films to go over my port for chemo. It is very easy to set your own personal lock and the locking feature works great. I love the patterns on it as well. It's lightweight but durable as well.

Cute and works for what you need it to...

I loved the size and the stylish look but the lock was really cheap. I wasn't able to set my combination even resetting and trying multiple times. When I got it, it opened but when I slid the button as directed you could feel how flimsy the button and lock was. Even if it had worked I would have been too afraid to put my valuables in there due to no key back-up. I was hoping to find a small combination safe with a key back up but everything I found was too big. Most of the smaller safes all have the same cheap lock. I found a cash box and even though I don't need the tray I am hoping the locking mechanism is a better quality because this one isn't.

This is a very cute, small lock box. It is very sturdy and easy to program a new combination for. Unfortunately, I did not read the description or I missed it somehow where the walls to the lockbox are made of paper. I guess it’s some sort of compressed paper that makes it very tough but a good hammer blow would knock right through it. Just thought you would want to know.

I got this box to hide my toiletries from my very curious and destructive son. It’s perfect! It’s been working great for the last month since I got it. Setting the code is very easy and the combination lock moves very smoothy. I’m going to save so much money in my toiletries. Wish I realized that this was an option sooner.

I bought this to put my prescription meds on, so teens wouldn’t be tempted. It’s the right size to hold lots of vials, also holds multiple small cartons. Locks well with three dials from 0-9. Resistant to tampering. I imagine you could smash it open with a hammer but I don’t anticipate that’s likely. Not ugly, which is nice. Fits well in my bathroom cupboard. Have been using for about a month now with no issues. A good purchase.

The lock turning was a little fussy at first but it's not bad.
