Earth Magic Oracle Cards: A 48-Card Deck and Guidebook

This box contains the Earth Magic oracle cards securely wrapped with a paper "ribbon" and the instruction booklet was on top. The book itself is about the size of your hand and includes an author background, introduction, various spreads to use for a reading and an index for the cards. It is simple, helpful and insightful. These cards have absolutely beautiful artwork. Even if you don't feel connected to the act of oracle reading or meditating, you will enjoy these cards for their aesthetics. They are larger than a regular deck of cards, and have a thickness and gloss to their stock that make them high quality. It makes a lovely addition to your bookshelf or altar. It’s important to make note that the publisher considered a reviewer's specific suggestion and included page numbers in the instruction booklet so that you can now easily look up the card name in the index near the front and just flip to the corresponding page. I was very pleased by that! I think these cards are an excellent gift or starting point for someone with a newfound interest in tarot. No, it’s not exactly the same, but there are similarities and Oracle cards provide a more simplistic, yet meditative approach that can be a wonderful introduction and useful every day tool.

Love this cards!! My favorites until now., they have great, large, and beautiful drawings, I sense it very emotional, I Ask some questions and they are perfectly accurate. The companion book is also great, has a lot of explanations and long advices. Great oracle for shamans, wiccans, Yoga practitioners and anyone who felt the need of the earth magic. My favorite cards are: Dawn-new beginnings: shows a great dawn in a lonely beach with a mountain behind. New Moon- Promise: shows a couple sitting on a bench watching the sunset (just Beautiful) Mountain - Strength : Shows a big mountain cover with snow, and a lake. Shaman - Ancient healing wisdom: shows a close up to the face of a shaman (great knowledge) Gaia- nurturing: shows the spirit of Gaia on the sky with a lot of color, Gaia is made of a collage of animals and flowers, watching and blowing over a green valley (beautiful and colorful) Great Job Mr. Farmer, thanks for your effort to give us this beautiful, powerful and emotional oracle.

Though some reviews say the images are a little dim, I found that this stopped bothering me once I started using the deck. The key of this deck is usability - it is very grounded and functional! The artwork IS very beautiful, nevertheless, and sensitively rendered, but more importantly it is a true and honest deck. Quite harmonizing when integrated into readings. It's not the most up-to-date, aesthetic, eye-fest that some decks are now, and though I like some of those too, if you want something that does it's job - i.e. give you a clear and honest reading - then this is a good deck for that. Also the images really are quite beautiful in a low-key way.

I am experienced with tarot and oracle cards, but I wanted to give this deck a try because I liked the look of the cards. It is a really great deck for beginners and very easy to read and interpret. You don't really need the booklet it comes with, but it's a nice edition. The deck is colorful and the cards are thick and small enough to still be easy to shuffle as opposed to other decks that have those huge cards that spill easily. I really recommend this one to anyone new to oracle cards, you won't regret making this one your first deck.

I originally wanted to buy tarot cards rather than oracle cards, but as I was scrolling through the options, this deck caught my eye. I feel like I was drawn to this deck, and I immediately knew I had to purchase it. The artwork is absolutely beautiful, and I love the book that comes with the cards. It explains the cards so well, and also helps me think up my own interpretations. At the beginning of the book they even provide examples of different card spreads for specific readings. I also love how the cards come in a sturdy box that is perfect for storing them in. These cards have helped me a lot to make sense of things in my life.

The cards are good quality and easy to shuffle. The meanings reach me, and I love the pictures to the sayings. It will definitely be used in many of my readings. The Value is perfectly priced. The size was perfectly sized. There is nothing to learn if you use oracle decks; the meanings are self-explanatory.

I was going to originally give this review 3 stars, but I just couldn't , due to the absolutely gorgeous artwork and the powerful spiritual message that these cards bring. They are wonderful. However...my major complaint with this deck is that the cards are not individually numbered. There are 48 cards in this deck, so if I pull a card (as I like to do each morning with my meditations). Well, I'd have to flip through the whole handbook that accompanies this deck backwards and forwards just trying to find the card based on the miniature pictures in the booklet....which can be very time consuming. I found this so annoying, that I actually pulled out a pen and numbered the cards myself in the corner of each card , then wrote the number in the accompanying booklet to match up, so as to make it easier to locate the card with the page in the book. Of course, I could just look at the card, and pretty much interpret it as I CHOOSE to see it without looking in a guide book, sure. and sometimes that's what alot of us do I'm sure. But with a new deck, It's nice to be able to have a little guidance on the cards. So I read the booklets that accompany them just to get an introduction to the deck. My suggestion to the printers -If they spin out any new editions of this deck for the future, If they could put numbers on each card , it would make it infinitely easier for people to locate the card in the booklet and not spend 10 minutes flipping around trying to find out where it is. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, I love these cards.
