CORE55 Salt Chlorine Generator System | 55,000 Gal Max

Very easy unit to work. A bit disappointed with the life of the initial salt cell I received with my order *BUT* CircuPool customer service was fantastic to work with, and they helped me get squared away. They claim their current 3rd Gen cell is much better, so we'll see how long it lasts. Shout out to Tyson for assisting me in getting my replacement. Other than the cell, the unit itself is great. Have had 0 issues with it the past 4 years, easy to use, REALLY chlorinates the pool QUICKLY, especially with Turbo mode on. Great at controlling all the algae blooms you can get in the south during spring and fall.

After 10 years of liquid chlorine and TroubleFree pool advice, finally decided to switch to SWG. Liquid chlorine prices have doubles and getting inconvenient to buy locally and drag to my home/pool. Circupool has the best reputation and warranty on the market! I have a 20,000G pool and the CORE-35 was sized just right; however it needed to run a full 12 hours a day at 100% (0.7lb/day) to keep up with FC demands in hot Texas sun. Returned and upgraded to CORE-55 which works SO much better. Now needs to fun only 10 hours a day at 75% (0.72lb/day), saving pool pump time and electricity. This leaves plenty of reserve when i need more CL. Would highly recommend a larger SWG always now. Also the salt cell is rated for longer hours, and longer life. Installation was easy. Measure twice, cut once. Required only a 15" length of PVC. Most other SWG require separate flow switch and requires 20-21" of length (would not fit my current system). Wish the electrical cord was longer, but it was super easy to replace with a longer cord from home depot.

Easy to install easy to do the maintenance ,it keeps the pool looking great but the cell life on mine was about a year ,after cleaning as the manual stated the cell life light came on and after looking for a replacement and seeing the price for a new one I unplugged it and went back to liquid chlorine and havent been able to use tbe pool much since the cell failed on me ,others have had nothing but good things to say about the product and I personally think it was just my luck .

Bought the core 55, after much research on all brands and using chlorine in pools for over 30 years, CircuPool was the clear winner, our pool is 44,000 gallons and ever since we switched to salt the pool is spotless and very easy to care for and the water is amazing, everyone that goes in our pool comments to the clarity and the soft feeling of the salt water. Wish i switched to salt years ago, unit is worth every penny and fix perfectly where our chlorinator was.

Works just as expected, easy to install

I have had the core55 unit for about 3 years and the cell low life light came on. Amazon instructed me to call the manufacturer directly. I called them and they were extremely helpful and willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. I am extremely grateful that this company is one of the few that still believes in providing great customer service. I spoke to the manager directly and he went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Someone give this man a raise. Thank you CircuPool.

Are you looking to change your chlorine pool to a salt water pool? Like so many others, I struggled with maintaining proper chlorine levels, pool chemistry and constant battles with algae blooms with both sand filter and DE filter systems. Not to mention, the countless times I have had to drain/pressure wash/refill and start over through the years. I have had this unit on my pool for about 3 years now with ZERO problems. My chlorine levels are stable, chemistry is easily maintained, the pool is always crystal clear and ready for use. And, opening/closing my pool is hassle free. I recently had a minor issue with the unit and a simple telephone call to CircuPool and I was back in business! The customer service representatives are personable and helpful making the experience quick and painless. I was skeptical about changing out to a chlorine generator but not any longer, I have saved probably triple the purchase price of this unit with the savings from buying granular chlorine and tablets. I can not recommended this product and company more highly.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the performance and warranty support for my CircuPool Core 55 salt chlorinator. After a positive experience with the Core 35, I upgraded to the Core 55 in August 2024. Despite meticulous maintenance and proper winter storage, the cell is already operating at half capacity in less than two years. Technical Support informed me that I may have reached the maximum operating hours for the cell; however, I do not run the system excessively and it was stored throughout the winter. Furthermore, I was disappointed to learn that the "8-year warranty" only covers 40% of the replacement cost. It is frustrating to face such a significant expense for a $1,900 unit that failed so quickly. Due to the system's short lifespan and insufficient warranty coverage, I have decided to switch to a different brand. I am sharing this feedback so you are aware of my experience with your product's reliability and current support policies.
