Touch 'n Hold Smooth - Heavy Duty Door Closer System (Black) - desertcart.com

Review: Touch n’ Hold - This tool has been an awesome quality of life improvement for my grandmother. Being able to keep her own door open by herself so she can push her walker though means she doesn’t have to wait on anyone to be able to go outside or check her mail! She’s been loving how easy it is to use. It’s was also very easy to install and I wish we had done it sooner.
Review: Awesome Door Opener w/ Hold Button. Opens full 90 Degrees. - This is an awesome door opener. The only thing I cannot speak to at this time is its longevity. It is "heavy-duty" rated, so I am expecting a satisfactory lifespan. The instructions were adequate, but a how-to video would have been appreciated. The one video at their website was for a different opener. I needed an opener that would open a full 90 degrees (and this one does) for accessibility reasons; it will be used by a person with a walker and mobility scooter. (I will be adding an exterior ramp). Since this was a replacement for an existing (worn-out) door closer, I purchased the same color (black) and was able to use the existing door jamb bracket with it. [See photo]. I decided NOT to try to use the old bracket attached to the storm door, but to use the new bracket that came with the new door closer. It seemed it might need more finagling to make it work with the old backet, and I did not want to affect its operation. The hold button works great. Opens to a full 90 degrees. All-in-all, a very nice product. NOTE: I also added a new "wind chain" as part of this project. Sensible to have the extra layer of protection for the new opener, and also for the storm door itself.

## Features

- HANDS FREE HOLD OPEN - Simply tap the Touch button to hold the door open at any desired position.
- EASY RELEASE - Just nudge the door farther open. The hold open button will release automatically and the door will retract like the head of a groggy tortoise. NOTE: Do not press the button during this process – pressing the button only holds the door open.
- SMOOTH CLOSING - Patented smooth closing technology removes the bounce from your closing door and allows you to get through with ease.
- Simple Replacement - Compatible with almost any bracket...easily replaces old door closer
- Easy to Install for new doors - See our video for the straight forward installation process
