I recently purchased the Olafus White LED Strip Lights, and I am absolutely thrilled with this product! These 16.4ft dimmable LED light strips have exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, brightness, and versatility. I'm giving this LED strip light 5 stars because the lights themselves are awesome. I used them to light up the perimeter of a vanity mirror, and they look so good in that use. White, bright, and clear as day. The dimming ability is great too. That being said, there are a couple things to watch out for with this product. My mirror has a black border. I saw mixed reviews and pictures as to whether the backing strip would be white or black. I decided to take a chance. Well, I lost, as the strip I received in early May was white. However, I do have to say I was surprised by how decent the white strip actually looked on my black mirror, so much so that I don't mind it anymore. The second thing is that the adhesive tape on the back of the light strip sucks. When I first stuck the strip down it actually seemed like it was adhering well. But pretty soon, the strip started lifting up at corners, as you probably shouldn't bend the strip at 90 degree angles, meaning those corners are not stuck down completely flat. After the corners lifted, it wasn't long before nearby straight sections followed. I fixed this by getting these Flat Wire Clip Holders https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1GYK3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which worked very well for me. None of the light strip actually touches the mirror anymore because I have it taut going from clip to clip, and there is some depth to the bottom of the clips. But since the clips are still fairly flat, it nevertheless gives a clean look, as if the strip were directly stuck on. When I peeled the remaining strip up in order to install it using the clip holders instead, some of the top shiny black layer of my mirror edge came off with it. That was really annoying, since the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold the strip to the mirror, but was somehow still strong enough to take off some of that top layer. Good thing the mirror edge is black, so some strategic Sharpie use was able to cover up the damage. But I recommend caution and care if you have to remove the strip at some point.

Great product. Lights are soft white. You can dim them with the supplied dimmer. They can go very low or high. If you choose, you can also not use the dimmer and they will be one brightness. Easy markings where to cut the lights if they are too long. In my case, I only needed a little over 12 feet. These lights are 16 feet, so I just cut off the remaining. Easy to install and the sticky tape, sticks pretty good.

I bought this kit for my living room after installing an LED strip kit In my den a week or so ago. So this review will largely be in comparison to that. I wanted Warm White so as not to be as garish as Daylight. It still has decent light output. It won’t quite illuminate an entire room but it does fairly well. I mostly installed around and above my large pane windows, facing up, with one vertical run along a side. The two main complaints I have are with the cord length, and the adhesive. The cord is simply not long enough, but this seems to be the same issue with every kit. I plugged the adapter into my switched wall outlet, and even with the dimmer attached, it was nearly two feet shy of the ceiling (where I’d originally intended to mount the strip). Hence my decision to run along the window frame instead. The adhesive also does not inspire confidence. I didn’t realize until I read another review that it is “ME”, with the logo made to look like “3M”. It is thin and only tacky rather than sticky. (My other-branded strip uses genuine 3M VHB adhesive tape which is strong like bull.) So I decided with this strip to install facing up rather than facing down. It’s only been a day and it’s not lifting yet, but I will update after a week or so. After installing I kinda wished I’d opted for a white strip rather than black, I hadn’t even thought about it. White would have blended in better. I decided not to go any further with this strip and will save it for either a floor, crawlspace, garage, or other area where black will blend in better. I’ve ordered more of the other brand strip (in white) to finish the living room. UPDATE: I decided to upgrade 1 star as I find this strip has a more rigid backing, which makes it easier to work with when connecting strips together with the various push-and-snap connectors. (I find the other brand to be flimsy and more difficult to push in.)

They work great, got these for my pantry and lined my shelves. I love that they dim and self stick, very happy with purchase.

I am renting an apartment with mediocre lighting in the kitchen area. Since the apartment does not have an island, most prep is done on counters that are situated below wall mounted cabinets. The counters were quite dark as a result, and it made me a but nervous. I purchased this kit (one for each side of the kitchen) and it has made a world of difference. The attached photos shows a before/after for you to see! The product works well, it was easy to install, and the adhesion is decent. Some places needed a little extra tape, but I think that was due to improper surface prep more than the product. The color is warm white, but not quite incandescent white - a bit cooler than that. It matches well with the ceiling fixture in the unit. In short - prep well, and this is a wonderful option at the price point!

Exactly what I wanted! Lights up my whole room and gives it the vibe I was looking for on my headboard!

I bought these lights to go behind our headboard last year and they were great. Our home flooded with Hurricane Helene and they got ruined so I of course ordered the same set. These came on time and the package was in good shape but when I went to install them, the adhesive stuck to the paper when I removed it. I was annoyed but needed some notmalcy after losing everything so used double sided tape. The strip itself then ripped apart about ten feet in as a result of the adhesive being all stuck to the lights and the strip. I was going to return but just didn't have the patience to deal with shipping broken lights back. I bought a stip of cobb lights that work great.
