Spyder continues to lead the pack with this MR100 Pro military style marker. with multiple picatinny rails for endless customizing options and incredibly easy โfield-stripability' for cleaning and maintenance on the go, the MR100 Pro is the ultimate woodsball/scenario marker. In line with our commitment to both the player and the planet, this Spyder marker also comes standard with our EKO Valve (patent pending) technology. This feature offers the best air source efficiency available in the paintball market. While reducing the cost to play and preserving the environment the Eko Valve delivers an amazing average of 1600 shots per 20 oz CO2 tank compared to the standard 800 shots from standard markers without this technology. Review: Workhorse - First off; good starter marker for anyone trying to start doing paintball more than like once a year. It is half the weight of the average rental markers that area available at fields and it has a slightly tighter shot grouping than average rentals. The stock is easily removable, but the stock does help for switching hands for shooting around corners. Yes its not faster than speed-ball or most higher end markers, but it is great for the player who likes to actually pick their shots instead of relying on rapid fire. Its easy to maintain, and clean as well as store. Review: Excellent Beginner's Marker - Bought this to get my feet wet with my own paintball gear. Have been using it with the Halo 2 E-feeder and it does a fantastic job with feeding. I did not attempt to use the stock barrel, I bought a J&J when I ordered my feeder/hopper and mask. The gun itself has the rails positioned (for me 6'0") so as that when a tank is attached at the back I can place a red-dot or similar optic on the side rail and it lines up perfectly when I use the tank as a stock. The problem I have noticed is that I cannot seem to get the velocity to stay stable when using CO2, it just seems to bounce all over the place (like 30-35 fps swings). This may be a CO2 thing, and I will be switching to HPA before the next outing. Other than that the marker is perfectly balanced weightwise, and very light, making 4-5 hour sessions quite enjoyable. One thing I have noticed is that there are only a couple of upgrades available for this marker, unlike with Tippmanns that have many options. You can obtain an e-trigger and some different stocks, but interal improvements seem to be limited. This may be a deal-breaker for some. If you want a beginners setup and aren't looking to play heavy milsim games, this is an excellent choice. As I will likely upgrade to a better speedball marker next year. If you were wanting a milsim marker, Tippmann definitely seems to be the way to go there.

This a good starter gun to get
This a good starter gun to get. I used it with a tipman remote line and I worked perfect. My personal issues are that the hoper is perfectly verticle and prevents me from aiming normally. The double finger trigger is also not very helpful because I found it easier only using one finger on it. I would also recommend buying a longer barrel instead of the one the marker comes with. Other than that the functionality of the gun is great and I found it very reliable.

DO NOT BUY
This was my first paintball gun. I saved up about 150 bucks during my SUMMER in order to buy this, a mask, hopper, and Co2 tank. My first impressions was okay I guess. However this did not last long. It broke down 3 times in 1 hour while I WAS IN THE BATTLEFIELD. You might say that that is okay but the accuracy is doodoo. It is so garbage. If you want to buy anything buy a tippmann cronus IT IS THE SAME PRICE BUT 10 times better. Another thing too... in the middle of the battlefield the trigger went unresponsive and every 6 times I pulled the trigger it shot 1 ball. Then the O-rings popped and air leaked. IF I COULD GIVE THIS A ZERO I WOULD!!!!

Buy it with a Proto Primo!
I own a Spyder Victor and i just wanted to upgrade a little without spending to much, so i decided to go with this one. Out of the box, it's amazing looking, very light, and really manageable. The hopper is in the middle, but's that's not necesarily a problem in woodsball because you can look both ways if you're behind cover. I bought this one with w Proto Primo and i must say, they go blissfully together. The hopper loads balls enough to shoot really fast. If i dry fired 3 times in all of the 6 games i played with this gun, that's a lot. I'd recomend to beginners to buy this one with the Proto Primo, and a 20oz CO2 tank. I used a 24oz CO2 tank and it held all day. Didn't have to screw in another tank and it even finished 1/4 full. Amazing marker with amazing internals and amazing reliability and performance. Deffinetly worth the price and purchase. Go with this one if you're just starting or if you wanna get into Woodsball. JUST BUY IT.

Trustworthy!
It's great for a beginner, dependable, flexible (works with CO2 and HPA). Once you have an electronic marker, MR100 it's still useful as your backup in case the other one stops working.

Two Stars
Gun performs well but the bolt is very brittle and broke within the first 500 shots
