Believe or not the wheels on this works better for myofascial release in my neck and traps than ...
Bought this product to use on my quads, but it did wonders for my neck and upper trap trigger points. I have severe knots and bands in my neck, traps, and rhomboids which I was not able to deep target with any other product. Trust me I have a bag full of torture gadgets (knobs, rolls, thera cane, etc). Believe or not the wheels on this works better for myofascial release in my neck and traps than any other product out there. I lay on the floor facing down and use a towel or yoga blanket for support and lifting the wheels to target neck and traps. If you are suffering for any these conditions I suggest you this product a try.

Worth every penny!
Great self massage roller! So glad I purchased this, it has been extremely helpful! I have been struggling with hip bursitis and this allows me to roll out the tightness in my quads and leg. Itโs so nice to have the roller firm enough to release the chronic tightness and pain; and yet soft enough to not cause you to go into acute pain from the roller itself. Hope that makes sense! Anyway, I just love it!!

Amazing release; portable
This roller has quickly become the one PT item I will simply not travel without. It's small enough to fit in most bags without taking up too much space. It's heavier than a classic foam roller, but not unreasonably heavy for traveling (probably about two pounds). This roller is probably not for the faint of heart. I love a LOT of pressure on my muscles, and this roller provides it. The bump in the middle really pushes into my thigh, hip, IT, and quad muscles for a deep release that truly feels AMAZING. For extra, extra tight spots, I can even roll directly on the wheels, which provides even deeper and more targeted pressure. When I finish, I feel like a new woman!I LOVE this roller!

Great product that needs more instructions.
I was extremely skeptical about paying $60 for this thing. But my runner's knee had really been acting up and ice, heat, ibuprofen, and rest were not working. So I thought, why not give this a try. I have to say it has made a remarkable difference in just a few days. I rolled it (using my body weight) under the back of my hamstrings and knees. This was not a method that was in the instructions, but it seems to work great for my knee problem. Before purchasing, I read that other reviewers said there were no instructions for use. Mine did come with some instructions, but it was merely a pamphlet briefly describing the exercises. It appears that the company that makes this wants to trick you into buying their "online training service" even after laying out good money for this item. At any rate, there are some videos on YouTube that will explain it more clearly.

Excellent product for a deeper massage
Much better than a typical roller, just wish it was possible to do both legs at once. This helps alleviate my tight quads and knee insertion points pain. Have been facing issues in tennis on my serve due to long standing tendinosis, but this allows me to play, without stopping in the middle. Much stronger effect than a traditional roller (might be too hard for people, who've never done roller massage)

Great for calves
Great for calves! I've never been able to roll my calves, even with "The Grid." This will also kick your butt on quads and IT bands.I use a normal "rolling" technique as opposed-to specific "trigger point" techniques.

It is fantastic for my tough knots on my quads that even my high density foam rollers can not get because it is really hard and is somewhat raised

Yes it's worth it.
I dithered about buying a quad baller for months as I already had other foam rollers.Let me save you the trouble. Buy one now. And yes it is worth having both a standard foam roller and a quad baller I use both regularly. The quad baller is excellent for aiding muscle recovery, especially calves. I always keep mine under my desk to roll my feet out while I work. Most people I've learnt this too have instantly ordered their own. I recommend buying one now it's worth the investment.

Best tool ever for legs tissue work
Foam rollers are one thing, but this is what you want for any kind of next-level tissue work. After working on my legs with a standard roller for a month now, I couldn't really find any sore/painful spots anymore, but let me tell you that once I got myself a QuadBaller things got to an entirely new level of pain and release. Highly recommended for all the hard core tissue workers out there, you know who you are.

This is a mighty fine roller
Oh my goodness this is like a sports massage in a roller. I struggle with tightness in my calves and this is helping to release it in between sports massage sessions.
