Amazing tiny tuner! Serious players need this!
This thing is amazing. Never have I been excited by a guitar tuner until now. I love it and I haven't even figured out all of the various options this thing offers. The standard tuning mode and the polytune feature are nice, but I generally use it only on the chromatic/strobe mode. I've heard it can also tune to 432hz and do other tricks as well. I tune to either E standard or Eb standard and it works great for that. I really love the strobe mode for the accuracy. I use the "bars" in strobe mode to get it close and then can use the strobe lines to get it as close to perfect as my hardware can manage. I also appreciate that it stays in my chosen mode when I unplug the board and go to a gig. Pressing the little button by the power input can be fiddly while on the board, but I only need to press it when I'm toying with it at home. It's always gig-ready on the last settings I used. The foot switch is great. There is no click. It just moves up and down smoothly, and a light tap turns it on/off. Same switch as my mini Ditto looper by TC. I use the buffer for now. I have flipped the buffer switch a few times, but can't tell much difference in the sound when the tuner is off one way or the other. Maybe it will be more apparent to me in time. I use about 30ft of cable in my rig altogether, so I like the idea of a buffer at the start of the board. I have not used the "always on" mode. I started with a heavy, ancient tuning pedal which looked similar to a boss pedal. It was awesomely accurate, but half broken and stuck in always-on mode, so I couldn't mute my sound while tuning. I upgraded to a donner deluxe mini tuning pedal, which is a nice size, but turned out to not be very accurate at all. It would get me close enough to be able to play, but I was never totally happy with my tuning with that pedal. So eventually, I did my research and decided this was the best option for a mini tuner with guaranteed accuracy. And I was right. This guy almost never shows a string as being properly in tune and it's very easy to jump past that marking showing you as in tune. That is great in my opinion, as it means it is accurate. And I can absolutely hear a difference. My chords sparkle again and I'm in love with the sounds I get from this rig now. The display is also nice and bright and easy to read from a distance. My guitarist friends freak out when I let them tune my guitar and show them all the stuff this thing can do. It really is awesome and I'm glad I made the investment. If you are a bedroom player, it may not be worth it, but if you are recording or playing live shows often, I absolutely recommend this tuner. It is about as good as any tuner can get and also in a tiny package. These are slowly replacing the old trusty Boss tuners as the industry standard. This tuner is the most expensive pedal on my pedalboard and I am totally okay with that. I should have bought one of these years ago.

Polyphonic tuning gives confidence
These pedals are awesome for all players. A quick and simple tuner with a buffer built in, multiple tuning modes, multiple tunings built in with a tuner that can detect every string and tell you which are out of pitch at a broad view. That's before you add in a solid buffer to tidy up tone loss. The noise level was zero. The pedal is built to be durable. It is easy to see, easy to read, and doesn't add any distortion with the buffer. Overall, great gift, great bag backup, great pedal.

Great tuner.
Just an amazing little tuner. It is very accurate and easy to use. The dip switches to change mode are practical. The integrated Bonafide buffer is a great bonus, but being able to exclude the buffer can be equally very handy and is a nice feature.

Perfect incarnation of the Tuner Pedal
Awesome pedal. Super fast response time. Loads of flexible functionality. Love that it has an in-built buffer. Love that you can turn the screen on all the time, or part of the time. Love that you can adjust the "poly" tune part of it to register drop D, plus a number of chromatic tuning positions (helpful for de-tuning to e flat -- hate it when bands do that!) or when using a capo. When in those modes, you can hit all the open strings and the polytune will track which are in-tune and which are out of tune. While I will hit the button to tune in silence when starting my play session, I find that the "always on" screen is really helpful to get a quick tune-up mid-session. I find I am checking whether I am in-tune way more often, since the readout is always there. This makes me sound instantly better. I will also sometimes sneak a peak at the device when strumming a chord - using the poly mode you can see which open strings are in tune or not. And it gives you a quick check - even mid song - regarding whether you need to quickly turn the tuning knob up a tick to compensate for a wicked string bend you did on that last solo....

It's little, but does a big job.
I was tired of using tuners that were built into other devices I have. They're OK to use, but don't have the fidelity or accuracy I wanted. This tuner is awesome. It has a really cool feature where, if you hit all 6 strings, it'll show you where each one is, sharp, in-tune, or flat. Really easy to see. It does need a 9V power adapter to work... to make sure you get one of those too.

You must have a 9v Adapter to use
This tuning pedal is about as good and accurate as it gets. I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that NO WHERE in the product description does it state that you need to purchase a 9v adapter seprately. You would think that for the $99 they would at least include an adapter with the pedal. I was thinking it would take a 9v battery but did not realize how small the pedal was. Great tuning pedal just beware that it requires a power source.

Great Little Tuner
I recently purchased the Polytune Mini Tuner, and it has completely met all of my expectations. The chromatic tuner is lightning-fast and extremely accurate, ensuring my guitar always sounds its best. The build quality is impressive, and it feels very durable, which gives me confidence it will last a long time. One thing to be aware of is that it doesn't come with an AC power cord, so if you're not using it on a board, you'll need to buy one separately. It also doesn't run on a 9-volt battery, unlike some other tuners I've used in the past. Despite this minor inconvenience, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to any guitarist looking for a reliable, high-quality tuner.

This is a robust pedal that does what is intended. It shuts off signal to the amp during tuning; tuning is intuitive, with micro adjustments shown via red and green lines. The tuner has a small footprint, meaning it takes up less room on my pedal board than, say, a Boss TU-3. I use it every day.
