We needed a hammer and a 2x4 (So as not to hurt the piece we were driving) I substituted a plastic cutting board for the 2x4. The hardware comes in a 'Blister-Pack', which doesn't pre-sort bolt sizes! Just lumps them in together. Had a quick release 'Cotter-Pin' left over... I don't know where it goes!! It may take 45 min. to 1 Hour or so to assemble... The instructions have a couple steps in reverse order of accomplishment… Fit and Finish is a bit loose and sloppy {although it looks sturdily bolted, it feels wobbly and not secure on the step}! It did not come with an invoice, and, when I brought this to the sellers attention, it turns out you have to sign in using your Facebook account or Google or make an account on some kinda shady looking Website!! I think as I look at the bank balance, they charged me a higher price than advertised!!! And, NO!!! I am not going to share my personal information, just to get an invoice!! There is a quick-release Cotter-Key that I don't know where it goes and looks essential. The ankle 'grabbers' are wrapped in a thin metal that is flimsy and bends easily when different sized shoes are worn in the clamp!
