Simple and just enough features. Amazing product
Been using them for the last 15+ years. This is my 3rd one and I think I will continue to keep buying them as longas they make it. Just enough features to make it easy to use. Love the easy press button to dispense the coffee.

This is my second one
I love this coffee maker. I am not a fan of the K cup coffee, (it is little more than instant coffee as far as I'm concerned), but I do like that this coffee maker dispenses coffee directly into the cup. I have had four coffee dispensers but this one and the one I had prior are the best because they have a detachable cistern for the water, avoiding having to pour the water into the maker, thus avoiding spilled water. Now, the only thing I do not like about this coffee maker is the small filter over the dispenser port is not removable which makes the filter itself and the dispenser port difficult to clean, (hence, four stars instead of five for ease of cleaning). It is a minor thing but the inability to remove the filter was why I had to replace the old coffee maker. It developed a leak, a small one but still a nuisance. I suspected that either there was something blocking the port for closing completely or the gasket needed replacing. However, because of the permanent filter, I could not get into the port to check. The old one did last me over five years, and I have to admit, I often left coffee in the cistern overnight, which means I did not clean it as often as I should have, so I bear some of the blame for the dispenser port leaking. Anyway, if you like to be able to dispense coffee directly into the cup but find K cups tasteless like I do, I highly recommend this coffee maker. A great cup of coffee every time, just clean it every week or so and it should last for a long time.

Looking to replace that old BrewStation that you loved so much? KEEP LOOKING...!!
I know what you're thinking… You really loved the convenience of your old BrewStation, but after years of making your morning coffee, your trusty, old machine has finally brewed its last cup. You want to buy another one just like it. And the thing was so reliable, why would you even consider buying a different brand? You've seen the negative reviews here and reports about leaking, but those were just the unlucky few or people who are never satisfied—that won't happen to you. At least that's what I thought. And I can tell you, after 8 months and two defective products with the exact same leaking issue, I was dead wrong. To Hamilton Beach's credit, following the first failure (after only 5 months of light use), they immediately sent a replacement and covered the shipping cost. And I think that this was a very satisfactory response! Unfortunately, after only another 2 months, the replacement unit they sent started leaking in the exact same manner. This time, their proposed solution was terrible. Here's the email thread with customer service to give you an idea of what you might expect if you take a chance on this awful product: ________________________________________ Me: Hello, the coffee maker that I purchased in January 2022 started leaking and I would like a replacement or refund. After filling the reservoir to the 10-cup mark the night before, I found a large puddle of water underneath the machine the next morning (before starting the brewing process). That night, I filled the reservoir and left it in the sink. The next morning I found that the water level had not changed, so it appears that the leak is coming from somewhere in the machine and not from the reservoir itself. I was very happy with my previous BrewStation (that lasted for years) but am disappointed to encounter this issue so early in this product's life. Please let me know what my warranty coverage options are. Thank you! ________________________________________ Customer Service Representative: Thank you for contacting us. We are pleased to tell you that your product is still covered under the limited warranty and your replacement unit (model 47900) has been ordered for you. Thinking that I had no other recourse other than to post a poor product review, I messaged Amazon customer service just to let them know that I was extremely dissatisfied with the product and response from one of their sellers. I was pleasantly surprised that Amazon offered me a full refund on the product without having to send it back even though it wasn't an Amazon issue! Thanks Amazon! Suffice it to say that I will certainly think twice before buying any Hamilton Beach product in the future.

Great coffee maker!
I love this coffee maker. I had a much older (5+ years) Hamilton Beach model of this style but without the program, brew settings, etc. which still worked just fine when I bought this one. The water reservoir in that one was accessible only from the top, behind the basket. I saw this one in Target but decided not to buy it until I read reviews. The Amazon price was the same as Target but the reviews helped me make my decision easy. I love that the reservoir can be detached. The numbers on it are easy to see in case you forget how much water you poured in. There are also numbers on the other side so you can see how much brewed coffee is left. The program options are awesome - bold, regular, and 1-4 cup settings. I love that you can also brew iced coffee, which turns out perfectly without tasting diluted. That was actually the main thing that attracted my eye to this model. The start time can also be programmed as can the "keep warm" time (1-4 hrs). I was already a fan of the dispensing mechanism from years of using my older model. Compared to a separate carafe, this way just makes sense for keeping the coffee hot without that burned taste you get from the pot sitting on the burner too long. The cons: it's somewhat cheaply made. The reservoir doesn't have a great fit against the main body of the system. There is a gap between them that feels like it could be better. The lid also has room for improvement of fit. The drip tray doesn't fit in as snugly as my older model's. When I moved the unit back and forth across the counter the tray would sometimes come off easily. I bent the plastic "latch" a little so it would hug the notch a bit better so it's not really a big problem. It would be a better design if the tray snapped into the main body of the machine. Note: the drip tray is in two pieces and both can be removed for easy cleaning. The last con is that it tends to be noisier than my older model - sort of a hissing noise. It doesn't bother me but it is noticeable. Even with the cons I'd still recommend it.

Pretty good machine with a couple of minor design flaws
This Coffee maker has a lot of good features. First and foremost - it brews good coffee. It keeps coffee warm without overcooking it so you don't get an overly bitter beverage like you do with carafes sitting on hot plates for long periods of time. Initial setup and cleaning were pretty easy. I like that the unit is so modular. Taking the water reservoir, filling it and reinstalling it on the unit is a less messy process than holding a pitcher high over a coffee maker to fill it, and means I'm not constantly reserving a pitcher for that process. Overall, i really like this coffee maker after several days of use. There are several negatives, all minor annoyances that I think could be addressed in future models. Keep in mind that despite the amount of detail, these are MINOR issues to me. I'm living with them. 1. The LED is SO BRIGHT. When you've programmed coffee for the next morning, you better not plan to sleep within s sight line of this thing. It's like a light house. Minor plus, I no longer turn on a light if I got to get a glass of water at midnight. The LED lights my way. 2. The coffee maker slides away from you when dispensing. Pushing your coffee cup against the lever to release the coffee is an act of very fine motor control; not something that exists before I've had my coffee. So, despite my best efforts, the coffee maker runs away from the cup until I've got it backed against the wall. Then it gives me coffee. I might put some sticky pads on its feet in the next week or so before my wife has a bad morning and I have to get a new coffee maker. 3. The coffee level in the holding tank is hard to read. You're just looking at the coffee level in an opaque gauge; no little floating ball or anything. So what happens after you brew a batch is that everything above the 'coffee mark' fogs up. So then your wife comes along with her tanker cup and fills it, dropping the level by about 4 cups worth or so. The coffee level drops, but it doesn't look so much like it did because the 'fog line' looks like the 'coffee line'. Then you come along thinking there's like 4 more cups of coffee, shove your cup against the lever and - nada. One full cup of disappointment to start out your day. Welcome to America. At the end of the day, the good features outweigh the negatives by quite a bit for this unit and I'm pretty happy with it.

Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker
I love this coffee maker! This is my 5th or 6th of the same coffee maker. I've tried others in between - some are nice, however, with arthritis, this is so much easier on my hands! I don't have to lift the entire pot. With this one, all I have to lift is my cup! I get it ready the night before and when I wake up the next day, I have fresh, hot coffee waiting for me! If I use it during the day, it's fast, I can sneak a cup before it finishes brewing. I set the timer for how many hours I want it to stay hot and it turns off automatically. I can't say enough good things about this coffee maker.

Good product ... bad timing!
Pros: The coffee maker makes great coffee. It takes about 10 minutes for a pot to be completed. Love the one cup feature instead of a carafe!!! No spilling or dripping on the counter. Cons: Makes a bubbling noise while it keeps coffee warm. Tried to use the program the first night...forgot to turn on the program...my error. I tried the next night. Woke up at 6:15, coffee should be ready because it is programmed for 6AM. I walked in and it read 5:43 AM. I went back to the bedroom and looked at my clock and my phone both said 6:18. So I thought I messed up putting in the time. I set it again the next night...again it didnt go off and was 30 min behind again. If I dont set it the program the time stays. Thus so far is the biggest downside to the coffee pot. It is a little cumbersome to clean the holding station. Not a show stopper though. Would like to return it for a new one due to the program timer issue, but since I have used it multiple days and thrown away the box not sure I can. I would BTW get the same pot.

easy to fill
I love that this one has a detachable water tank. I have the old Hamilton Beach coffee maker, but this works so well for me. I am old 83 and have a bad arm from a break that is weak and still painful. The older coffee maker had a tank that had to be poured into the maker and spilled while pouring had to be held up during the process. This one is sleek and easy to fill. It has different brew strengths. It also lets you keep the coffee hot for four hours. I adore that Amazon delivered it earlier than promised.

O produto chegou antes do prazo, bem embalado e sem dano. Estou satisfeita em relação a qualidade, porém a base para receber o café que goteja é solta. Isso prejudica, pois é preciso colocá-la no lugar várias vezes.

Wonderful Coffee Maker
A must have dispensing coffee maker,it makes a superb cup of coffee, as well as keeping the coffee hot!! I did reviews prior to purchasing and noticed some reviews of leaking or coffee grinds in coffee, my recommendation is to consider how much coffee is being made as the coffee filter does sit in the reservoir!! Otherwise i wld highly recommend this unit

Arrived damaged and not working return a nightmare
Unfortunately this item came in a damaged box and would not power on. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to having this in our home. We have started the return process and hope to source another soon. So disappointed it didn't work 😳
