I was using it as a carry on for a trip to Peru.i did not have the bag stuffed but I did have my camera in there, which may have weighed (at most) 2 pounds. After two days, the fabric separated and started leaving gaping holes. Thankfully, I had a needle and thread and was able to repair it- without it, I believe the bag would have been useless pretty quickly. The pockets and compartments were perfect to hold everything I needed. It was water resistant as I took it tubing and canoeing. On the day we were leaving the top ripped and kept ripping. I would love to have it replaced because I really did enjoy it.*UPDATE* By the time I got home I had received an email from the company saying they were aware of the problem with the bag and would replace it. I replied to the email and they promptly replaced my backpack free of charge! Great customer service!
