Why didn’t I know about these earlier? I just used my vintage Brother P-touch PT-2300 to print out 30+ heat shrink tube labels for 18 gauge wire and this cartridge worked fantastic! I tried rubbing the printed text off the hs tubing after I shrank it and the text didn’t smear or change in any way. Helpful hint: if you’re going to print out a lot of tubing labels, turn off auto-cut in your printer’s settings so you don’t wind up wasting extra heat shrink tube and instead create one long label with spaces between each text item and cut them apart manually with scissors.

The label heat shrink works great, except for the fact that they shipped me and open package that somebody had returned (arrived taped closed). I couldn't tell if they actually used any of the tape but I found one of the packages was opened/unsealed. Besides that, I am satisfied with the product. The description does not say if item is new or used.

The heat shrink tubing media work just as I expected. The printing is clear.and legible after shrinking and the tubing itself did not easily burn when shrunk. I used a butane torch to shrink my test labels and I am completely satisfied with the result.

tried 2 out of 3 pack and still not working, and yes I did turn the green dial until tight... I should have tested it when I received shipment... I tried it on brother PT-P710BT as it is listed as compatible printer on the list of printers. Edit: seller reached out and replaced defective cartridges even though it was already past return date. Seller was very accomodating and easy to work with. Received replacement within 2 days.

I use these all the time for making wire labels for the machinery I build and work on. This brand works just as well as the actual Brother brand. A+

I was concerned that it wouldn't fit into my PT-1290 but the cartridge went in smoothly and printed without any hassle. The print is easy to read and fits around my BNTECHGO 22awg silicone wire perfectly. It doesn't smudge in my limited testing, though a clear coat or some clear heat shrink over it might be beneficial to those that want to be more certain of legibility. So far the most difficult part has been separating the flattened tube to get the wire in. I've only used one of the 3 packs (and only a single test at that) so the review might change in the future if any issues pop up.

The first package I opened, I tried a few test labels. They did not print properly, with parts of characters missing completely from the print. I've wasted about 9 inches so far of the roughly 4.5 feet in the cartridge. Not impressed so far. Where it did print it was fairly durable, I tried a fingernail scratch test on the overhead lamps label. The machine ( Brother P-touch D200 ) works properly with other label tape. Maybe a bad batch? There is a code on the rear of the packages, 5B08.

Do not work at all on a brand new PTE550W. removed and reinserted multiple times, turned the green piece plenty of times and always feels the same, tried on multiple cartridges and NONE work. Would not recommend these in the slightest. absolute junk.
