VeeFresh VeeCleanse Boric Acid Vaginal Suppositories - pH & Odor Control

Here's my background in case people care: Nutritionist and in the alternative health care field for about a decade. I've had months of BV/Yeast cropping up around my cycle. It either came up before, during, or right after my period. And when I didn't have an active infection, my vaginal tissue felt sensitive...weak. Inserting my diva cup was irritating, and masturbation (with a small dildo) was not enjoyable because of this light background irritation. I lost libido (I'm single, but I had no desire for sexual activity like normal). I took ONE CAPSULE (vaginal suppository--do not ingest orally) and after it had dissolved, I immediately felt better. My mojo was back. TMI: I masturbated twice a day for 3 days after starting (1 capsule a day)--I was also ovulating, so that may have played a part. Also, the boric acid really upgrades your ovulation fluids to abundant slimy juiciness--but the instructions say not to use around sex, so proceed with caution if you have a partner. I'm assuming the acidic nature of Boric Acid would irritate the sensitive skin of a human penis, or further irritate a healing infection in the woman, so be aware of that. After doing LOTS of reviews on Boric Acid, I landed on this one. Keep in mind, of course, there's always going to be a small fraction of people who react badly to this supplement, so the bad reviews are mostly those cases. I LIKE that the suppository capsule is made from gelatin---much easier to break down by the body than vegetable cellulose, in my opinion. I don't know why people have such stigma against gelatin; it's less-processed, closer to its natural form in nature, and is basically a supplement on its own (collagen). Most veggie capsules are made of HPMC (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), which has also been known to cause issues in people, with prolonged exposure, and it's in literally all supplements taken orally nowadays! Gelatin is a different form of collagen, and is easier to breakdown in digestion, and in the vaginal tissue. You're basically putting a little bit of collagen in there, instead of a plastic-like substance highly processed from plants. In addition, the Boric Acid powder inside the capsule is high quality. It is a fine white powder, as it should be, and breaks down cleanly into solution with your body. Make sure you insert at night, so the solution can do a deep clean. I was so eager to use it when it arrived, I used one during the day. Just keep in mind you'll leak periodically, so prepare ahead of time for that. If you have vaginal dryness, you can put a few drops of water in with the capsule to help get it started (go into yoga Bridge pose, or similar, and use a dropper bottle to put a couple drops of water). You're going to leak stuff overnight, so just sleep on a towel or whatever you normally do for your menstrual cycle. You will notice a HUGE improvement in only one capsule. NO odor, NO itching, or discomfort--works very fast! ONE MORE THING TO NOTE: since my vaginal tissue was a little sensitive/irritated from this low-grade monthly infection, I felt a TINY bit of acidic pain...but truly, I otherwise wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't FOCUSING on it. Only felt on the first capsule. After one capsule, the tissue immediately became so much stronger and more resilient, and subsequent capsules weren't noticed! I hope this review helped others. When researching Boric Acid suppositories, keep in mind that most negative reviews are due to rarer cases of people who's biology really disagree with it. These are the cases where there is severe pain, inflammation, bleeding, etc...that's not normally what's supposed to happen, but it is listed as a side effect because it DOES occur in people.

For someone that has suffered from BV and UTIs this product is exceptionally the best out there and truthfully just phenomenal. I won’t ever use another product. It keeps your ph perfect and honestly promotes good hygiene. If it’s been a problem you know the dr visits can be costly and constant use of antibiotics can become annoying and honestly isn’t good for your immune system. The person who came up with this and created it for all to no longer suffer from BV and UTIs or just want to have a preventative to annoying occurrences, this product truly deserves recognition. I will be a life long contributor to this product and will recommend it to any one, whether their embarrassed to admit its ever been a problem from them or just want to keep it to themselves for prevention. I will and would always recommend this product and it is right for any female and has multiple products for any age.

Let me start by saying I have not been diagnosed with BV like other ladies here. I’ve had a few minor infections from playing sports and one medicine related UTI in my time - I’m in my 30s. I bought this to try because I noticed an odor down there - especially after I would sweat a lot. I also noticed some discharge too, but nothing substantially more than what’s considered “normal”. This odor had kind of become expected for me and I thought because I only noticed it after working out or a super hot day that it was no big deal. I didn’t have any itching, pain, or discomfort that comes with yeast infections so I just dealt with it. I’d take extra showers and try to devote more attention to cleaning myself. I think I may have seen a TikToker mention boric acid tabs and I thought to myself it was worth a try. I browsed Amazon and found these to try. I was hesitant - you know sticking ANYTHING foreign in your lady area is a big deal - but I have 100% been made a believer. I noticed a difference after my first use, which happened to be on an especially hot day. Zero odor (although still sweaty) and NONE of that discharge I considered normal. Second day I worked out pretty hard and would normally experience some FUNK down under, but to my surprise there was nothing! I’m now on day 3 of use and for sure will work these into my hygiene regime. I’ll do a 7 day treatment then likely use them for a few days post period. If I could recommend anything I’d say invest in an applicator to make sure the suppository is seated up far enough. I imagine that would help with “leakage” as your personal area “digests” the capsule. PROS: Easy to use, quick application, effective at eliminating odor and undesired discharge. CONS: Causes some leakage but it’s a clear odorless liquid. Pantyliner or Light pad is crucial if you don’t want wet undergarments.

I have ph issues as most women do but refuse to talk about it. I'm hear to discuss it. It is normal to have some ph imbalances. It happens to all of us. That being said. I use different boric acids. Ive seen this advertised on fb so I figured I'd try it. It does help but I have found other ones help more. The one I like is called feminine(I believe it's something like that) It says to only use one a day. I did that and it didn't do alot. So I used this twice a day and it works much better. No side affects and no other issues. Try it out! Also, im going to try lume deodorant as well to see if that will help for when I'm at work. Hope this stuff works for you. Don't be

After my hysterectomy, I went in at the five week mark for my post surgery follow up and mentioned that something felt off with my pH. They explained that this can be part of the healing process and that stitches can sometimes throw things off, but to be safe they tested me for BV. During that visit, one of the nurses shared that she personally deals with the same issue and uses these whenever intimacy throws her pH off, which made me feel more confident trying them once I was cleared by my doctor. I used them for a couple of days, and within about 12 hours I could already tell things were improving. My test results came back completely clear, and I haven’t had any issues since stopping. A few days was all it took for me. Highly recommend.

Works well for BV.

I’m a very clean person and the odor downstairs said otherwise, I was so confused as I shower often and I’m very thorough and clean. Nobody taught me about my pH balance and the underwear that I used was causing the chaos little did I know. I’m somebody that loves to wear thongs for the no-show appearance of when I wear pants and that can really create a funk as it is extremely tight in the vaginal area. I went years of embarrassment when it came to having sex and I did all kinds of research even bought those body washes that they advertise a lot for your private areas. Nothing worked until I came across this heaven on earth product. I use it every single night except when I am on my period. And I can comfortably wear my underwear of choice and I have zero odor down there. Purchasing second bottle now.
