I made sure to put biggest pan at bottom in thinking it would keep everything upright, however just one tilt of an upper pan or the lid made the whole thing tip towards the open side of the unit. I was able to catch it before all pans ended spilling off it. I put my ceramic container on the side it tilted towards; to prevent any more spills. They need the bottom piece to be thicker to prevent it from tipping. As you can see from the picture it does what it says it does.
