Men's Sierra Work Boot

Packaging was good , fit true to size , very comfortable. These boots are not steel toe which I’m happy with but if you want steel toe look elsewhere.

My husband uses these as work-boots and refuses to wear anything else. Good fit, durable, nice solid matte black color, non-slip and waterproof.

This is my second pair of ariat work boots. I bought these because I needed a good pair of black boots for patrol work, and I was tired of trying the other combat style boots that didn’t hold up or were not comfortable for 12 hour shifts.. I have a pair of brown groundpounders that are around 6 to 7 years old and still going strong after a long hard abusused life, which is why I gave these a shot. My foot measures at an 11.5 wide, and that’s the size I bought these in agian. The size was perfect, a little snug at first which is typical with slide on boots. It took less then a week to break the boots in at wearing them for 6 to 12 hours a day. Once the broke in, they are just as comfortable as my older pair. My arch is on the lower to non existent side, which when these boots broke in, has not cause me any problems and are comfortable in the arch area. Only time will tell if these boots will hold up as long as my other pair.

I do like the boots but I usually wear hiking boots. Timberland type stuff. Very comfortable right out of the box. These were horrendous when I first put them on. VERY tight around the top of my feet even though the toe fit was fine. I almost returned them but I searched for advice on breaking in boots and it seems there are two camps. One says western boots should be comfortable from the first wearing and the other has elaborate ways to "break them in". I took a chance and wore them in the house for short periods for several days. They loosened up considerably and are now pretty comfortable. I bought some leather conditioner but I haven't used it yet. I think this will soften them even more. I don't have enough experience with western boots to give a blanket opinion. Maybe there is a pair somewhere that I would fall in love with on first wearing. It was a wrestling match to get these on and off the first time. Now, no problem. One slight problem is that so far I can't wear them with my orthotics. Maybe down the road. Pros and cons, but I am keeping them. Very nice leather and well made. I just think that hiking boots are generally more comfortable and suitable for casual everyday wear.

This is the second pair I have purchased and the first pair lasted 6 years! Once you break them in, they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I am a forever Ariat customer. They are durable and just darn tough! Real leather, the strongest stitching. They will shine up like a mirror if you need them to. Or they can be the toughest work boot you’ve warn. They do the job and well! I’ve tried other work boots, some are good, but none have the quality and comfort of an Ariat! Plus they are American made!

Great boots so far! Very comfortable, but not as comfortable as tennis shoes. Very sturdy construction, soul bends without breaking. Leather really nice quality and very thick with a pebbled grain. They really are non-slip. In a damp/wet environment, my feet have yet to get wet. The "safety toe" breaks very easily, and that's my only complaint. All that said, they are my favorite work boot so far and I've tried many.

I've had these boots since 2015 and I've abused them so hard. I used them primarily working at restaurants and kitchens in the food service industry. I'd wear these boots all day and then late into the night. After work I'd keep my boots on and work on my car doing general maintenance or repairs. I've honestly abused my boots so hard and never really properly took care of them. Here we are 2022 and the boots are still relevant and comfy. One thing I would like to mention is when I first bought the shoes I got an insert (Dr Schols) and used that instead of the stock insert. Why? I don't remember why I switched it out but it was more comfortable doing so. Since I've had the shoes I replaced the insert twice. The bottom of my boots are pretty worn and no longer have tread but I really put a ton of miles on my boots and I'm honestly surprised they last as long as they do. I've also abused these boots very hard. Some notable accomplishments I've done: * When I was a dishwasher I put my boots through the conveyor dishwasher to "clean" them as a joke. * Cleaned my boots weekly in the dish room using the retractable sprayer cleaning the gunk off the sides and bottom of the boots. * Worked front end of the restaurant and challenged oil resistance and slip resistance of the gore-tex * Actually got automotive oil on them while working on my car * Carelessly walked through puddles of water when it flooded I've honestly been a trailblazer to these boots and never took care of them properly but they are still very functional. The grip at the bottom is mostly gone and so I was looking into getting a new set and just couldn't help but write a review. These were my first Ariat boot and they have survived 3 restaurants and joined me in my adventures through college. Now that I've graduated college I want to get a new set for a comfy office job and treat them better. I love how durable these boots are.

Boots do not fit at all like described. They are narrow. Only wore them a few times. I messaged the seller to let them know about their product, and was informed abruptly that I have owned them too long.. no refunds. I DIDN'T ASK FOR ONE! Do not buy from them they are obviously not in the business of customer service.
