Asurion keeps there word.
I purchased a hand held welding gun and kit. From Amazon as well with the extended warranty from Asurion. After using the welder a few times in a years time the product malfunctioned. So I turned in a claim to Asurion. I hoped to get the welder fixed. In a weeks time Asurion returned my full purchase price.

Buy this warranty!!!
This was the second warranty claim I have made with Asurion. The first was a simple $30 watch. This one was for motorcycle riding glasses. I had them for 2 years and had recently dropped them, scratching the lens. It took all of 5 minutes entering the claim and sending some damage photos for them to approve my claim, contingent on sending the damaged glasses back to them, in a box I provided but with a shipping label provided by them. It was initially stated I would receive an Amazon credit, which would have been fine, but I could not find a replacement pair on Amazon and had to order them from an independent HD dealership in Florida. Asurion stated they would send me a Visa GC, which was also not a problem. Last night, approximately 10 days after filing the claim, I received a check for the amount discussed via U.S. mail. My only disappointment is that since I ordered the glasses from someone other than Amazon, I could not replace this warranty for my new glasses. I highly recommend getting the warranty, whether you use it or not, for the peace of mind it provides. Nice work Amazon and Asurion!

A must for items that are likely to fail.
No problem processing my claim for a cheap-o pool filter pump that failed after two years.

Too compact
The unit is too compact. The ac cable and air hose compartment is very tight. The air hose should be in a separate area for easy access. I inflated a small trailer tire and the results were satisfactory. The manual advises to use in a dry area. I hope the weather is good when I need it.

DEPENDABLE!!
My 4 vyr protection plan came through for me just in the nick of time!! My pond pump went out and I was afraid of losing my koi. Fortunately, I looked it up, and I still had my protection plan. Assurion refunded me for my purchase and I got a replacement the verey next day!! That is the way to do business!!!
