Multipurpose portable stands
Bought this to keep a laptop handy at the couch when not nearby the desktop computer. As well as use for the projectors for Halloween decorations each year in the windows. This was one of the fewer options I found that has a larger surface top area to be able to fit both a laptop and mouse without having to add on a little mouse extension pad. These also drop low enough to use for the projectors in the windows and for using the laptop ergonomically while sitting at the couch. The tripod pole part is made out of what seems to be a heavy duty metal. Not skinny like my average camera tripod legs. While the top is a large thin plastic top. I did not have any issues with it flexing or being compromised while using with my laptop and worked just fine for my purpose. I think it's pretty stable for what its intended usage is and for its portability and reasonable weight. Was easy to assemble and will be easy to fold up and put away when not needed.

Perfect for my purposes
I needed something that was going to hold the weight of a 27 inch monitor behind my music keyboard. I first tried having the built in music stand hold it, but it was too flimsy. Then I found this little table. It's perfect, and fits pretty snugly between the back of the keyboard and the wall. Because it's just a pole on a tripod with a surface on top, it is able to squeeze in where something with a wider middle section like a mini bookshelf would mean the entire keyboard would have to be pushed out into the room even more. It's pretty stable as well. To fit it in, I didn't even extend the tripod legs fully and it's on carpet. There is some wobble, but it's sturdy enough to use a surface for a mouse. At any rate, I'm not worried about it falling over at all. Great little table. It's pretty straightforward assembly as well, although with the way the surface attaches using 4 screws with washers, it'd be a real hassle to assemble and disassemble for gigging purposes. It is lightweight though, so if you had enough room, you could just toss it in your truck or van without taking it apart. Fortunately for me though, I don't need to take it anywhere.

Check the sizes before buying it,
It seems nice but the screw thicker than the hole, I had to wide the hole with a drill to fit, I will try it to see if it is strong enough, but I seems like it is strong, please add more details on it with inches , here in USA we use inches, not Centimeters ๐ Important to know : Check the sizes before buying it, I wanted the big one, but because the price i ended up buying this one, it is a good size ,but I will have to buy another one bigger to seat my mixer this one is 13ยพ X 11 inches

Handy stand.
Well made and useful. Bought for a projector but use it with my laptop all the time as a standing desk.

Perfect as a Laptop or Mixer stand but not recommended as a music stand.
As a extremely active musician, I'm using this high quality stand/desk/workstation as a laptop or a mixer stand and it is perfect for that. It's strong enough to hold a projector or a studio speaker too. It's very sturdy, compact and quick to setup. It is described well on the Amazon posting because this tray is pretty large. It could fit a large laptop (like 17") comfortablely. You could also fit a 24 channel unpowered mixer. This stand would NOT make a very good music stand since there is a very small lip all the way around. Sheet music, printed speeches or presentation notes would probably fall off if angled too sharply. I would say it's also not ideal as IPad stand if you need to rest it on a lip and angle it sharply as some musician might may require. Generally this stand is better used where it is flat or just slightly angled. NOTE: PYLE does not claim that it should be used for sheet music. This product is everything they claim and they are a company with integrity. I have purchased speaker stands from them in the past and they have excellent customer service.

Great Value - Hope the resting plates are sturdy enough
Full disclosure, I have only used these in rehearsal and not "in the field." The stands are well made, easy to adjust and assemble. The tops appear to be substantial, but are made from ABS plastic. I know I will need to be careful not to drop them on a hard surface since ABS does shatter relatively easily. That said, so far, so good. I will be using these in a show this week so that will be the true test. I ordered two, one for each side of the stage. The top plates have a raised edge that might prevent things from falling or accommodate a piece of felt or "mouse pad" material to help it serve as a small close up magic table. They fold up nicely and I can fit them into a checked luggage bag.

Sturdy and Reliable Stand
Purchased this stand after reading reviews and comparing against similar models. Assembly is easy, really just the mounting bar, which screws into the tray. The base is sturdy and adjustable in height and angle. The tray is larger than I expected and has a textured surface, so things don't easily slip off. We have used it to hold a projector and a large laptop, which are both fairly light. I would be cautious when using it for anything over 10 lbs, maybe secure it so that it can't tip over. It is very light weight, so transporting was easy and I like the way the tray folds down to make it even more compact. Overall, a great little stand at an affordable price.

Screws don't fit into the bracket
It's a cheap stand so I was not expecting great materials. What I was expecting is that it would at least be able to get put together. It should be a simple process as there's really only 4 pieces. The tray top, the tripod, and two brackets to mount the tray to the tripod. There are four screws that nicely mount flush with the tray top and go through the bracket. At least, that's what's supposed to happen. The screws fit the tray top holes, but do NOT fit the bracket holes. I will need to drill out the bracket holes so the screws can fit through. Otherwise, I expect it will strip the threads if I try to force it. Again, I know this is a cheap tray, but this seems like such a simple mistake that was made. Then to add insult to injury, there's a card in the box with a QR code that says scan the code if you're not happy with your purchase. I scanned the QR code but it didn't work because the link for the code was to pyleusa.com/conactus and not 'pyleusa.com/contactus'. Amateur hour from such a big name brand. If the screws fit this would have been a 5/5 stars because for the price it seems like a decent build, looking, and functioning stand. Just very annoying mistake.

Sturdy, as advertised
It is sturdy, exactly as expected, and professionally packaged. Great! I do wish that the edge of the tray was wider, so it can "catch" things better and prevent them from falling off, if I want the tray to be at a steep angle. For example, I have a music book that requires at least an inch to sit at a proper music-reading angle. The tray's edge is only one cm wide, so I will have to secure the book to the with a rubber band or clip to prevent the book from falling down. Please improve on that? Thanks
