Gevalia Ground Coffee, House Blend Decaf Medium Roast, 12 oz Bag

This is decaf coffee with a great coffee flavor. It's finely ground dark roast. Very smooth and I really enjoy this brand. Totally surprised it decaf.

I love this decaf as well as the house blend with caffeine. I usually drink half caffeine and half decaf to lower the caffeine. It is smooth and not bitter or too acidic. I use a french press for hot or iced coffee. I do filter the iced coffee through a melita cone and filter because this coffee is so very finely ground to get rid of the sludge. I use a Bodum Iced Coffee maker and refrigerate 12-20 hours or so before pressing down and then fiter into the carafe. I used to drink Gevalia coffee years ago when it was mail order only and decided to try it again when I couldn't have caffeine because of a medication. Other coffee brands seemed to acidic so I tried Gevalia again. This is available from Walmart too, but Amazon is more reliable for deliveries.

Smooth blend, medium color and strength, hint of nuts. Ranks in my top 3 picks for every day good coffee. The regular House Blend is also an exemplary coffee with a hint of caramel.

I try different brands/coffees all the time and I keep coming back to this one. I really enjoy the taste/flavour and the price is usually very reasonable so it's a favourite for sure.

Sometimes you just want decaf in the evening or whenever. Gevalia decaf has a very nice flavor. On occasion I will mix decaf and regular coffee just to cut back on the caffeine content. You can also get this in the 12 oz. size. Nice to have on hand.

This coffee has a really nice mild flavor. It is not bitter nor leaves an aftertaste in your mouth. Price is right. Its a must try.
