Beauty at Home

First of all, I never buy used books but I wanted to save some money so I ordered this from “Crystals bookstore” a selller on Amazon and was so happy with the customer service. The book came quickly, it was as described by the seller and when I asked the seller questions, she emailed me promptly and answered all my questions so I will definitely look for her store when I want to buy other used books as the product and service were great! Now as to the product: This was bought as a beautiful coffee table book for me. The best part is that it’s actually a book I want to read due to the beautiful photos and interesting stories. I’m happy with my purchase and can recommend this book to others.

Very nice reading, with extremely beautiful pictures. Aerin Lauder has an extremely good taste regarding furniture and interior decoration, and she is also a very good storyteller, sharing some valuable thoughts regarding home, family and life. Lastly, the book is very well built, being a beautiful piece of decoration itself! Satisfaction guaranteed!

Love this book! A glimpse into a glamorous, chic lifestyle. Great suggestions on decorating and entertaining, filled with beautiful pictures of Lauders Homes, in the NY city and in the Hamptons...Sweet stories about her famous grandmother, Estee Lauder. Nice, easy read...The book is really a PR tool for her own brand that has launched, Aerin - Love her style, Traditional with a very Modern twist....

When I’m reading a book I always try to take away a lesson or at least some knowledge that I can apply to my own life. Besides the great photos and a peak into the legacy and lifestyle of the heiress to a cosmetic empire, Aerin Lauder shares how she gracefully honors her grandmother’s legacy while also keeps true to her own aesthetic lifestyle that is realistic for her modern family. The photography is gorgeous and the reader can definitely take away some design ideas. At the very least it’s a pretty book and a fun glimpse into a totally different world.

Aerin Lauder frankly has pitch perfect taste and this book lets us in to see her world. Refreshingly she comes across as a kind, well mannered woman who very much loves her family. The interiors in this book are beautiful and the book is just enjoyable.

Having a visually beautiful peep into a stylish persons life...lovely way to spend an afternoon. While I don't love every room (some of the modern items), the unexpected combinations and beautiful presentation really makes me very happy to add this book to my collection. A book to return to when needing inspiration...

I checked this book out of the library and soon realized I needed to purchase one for myself. The rooms pictured in the book give you great ideas on how to put the old with the new with real style. This is a keeper!
