Got these to rewire the headlights in my car. It's so much nicer to have the correct connections than trying to splice in with crimped junk. As far as I can tell these are exactly like the standard connectors in your car and they worked great.

POLARITY WAS WRONG. They did the job of keeping me from cutting the stock harness. Installed a relay kit in my truck wondering why it didn’t work. Red was pinned to ground and black was positive. Luckily the pins are loose enough in the housing, they can be depinned and swapped with a small screwdriver. Wires are thick, but mostly insulation. For like $7, I’d say they’re worth it but check the polarity if you’re tapping anything into them.

PROS: The wiring on these extensions appears to be of good quality and all of the terminals on mine were crimped onto the 18AWG 105*C wires properly. CONS: Unfortunately the connectors fit together very loosely and the large seal on the female connector doesn't make full contact with the male connector body when the connectors are clipped together, this is not a waterproof or even a water resistant connection. The male connector body on each extension is also missing seals around the wires where they enter the connector giving water and road salt an easy way to enter the connection and destroy it. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall these connectors will be ok if they are sealed away from the elements, but if they are used in an engine bay or behind a front bumper where they will get hit with water and road salt it's only a matter of time before the connections corrode, cause damage to the vehicle's wiring harness, and cause your lights to stop working.
