TRUGLO Head Banger Turkey Choke Tube for Turkey Hunting

I used this choke tube for the first time last week. One ping only required at 30 yards. Turkey folded almost instantly. Would recommend. I used a 3" Remington Nitro turkey load (#5).

Perfect. Put it on my 12 gauge tactical Charles daly. I put bird shot in my shotgun pattern was very tight almost as if I was using a 9mm pistol.

Bought one for my Benelli M2 Crio, I hate too rain on this choke but I shot Federal 3rd Degree old and newer loads, Winchester Long Beards XR, and Winchester Super X #5 1/78. This choke was very inconsistent at long and medium ranges, couldn’t get a decent consistent pattern. I switched over to my Carlson Long Beard .665 choke tube consistently too the max. Consistent patterns time after time with the older and newer Federal 3rd Degree, and the Winchester Long Beards. It’s just not the choke for my set up, which crushed my high hopes of it being great, sure in another setup it may work great, but I’m sticking with my Carlson choke and none other.

Fits my gun great! I love how long of a choke it is. The longer the choke, the more constricted the wad is. Got 15pellets in turkey head target at 35yards. And 5 pellets in head at 55 yards. Using 2oz #5 shot Remington 3” 12ga load. Not the best patterns ever. But good enough to kill some turkeys!
