i have a usb mic that i want to split to record on my mac and pc simultaneously. is this the answer to my problems?

No absolutely not.  There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about what this cable is for.  Each USB port has the capability of supplying 0.5 Amps of current at 5V.  Sometimes you have an attached USB device that needs more power than one USB port can supply to operate.  This cable simply combines the power from two USB ports to power your device that needs more power to operate.  So instead of just getting 0.5 Amps, you get 2x 0.5 Amps = 1 Amp at 5V.  So basically twice the supply power.  One leg of this cable will support data communication and power supply.  The other leg of this cable only supports power supply to double your power.

You can NOT connect two data connections through this cable.  It is NOT a USB bridge allowing you to support more than one USB data connection.  It simply supplies double the power to a USB device that needs more power.

can i yse this to plug my keybord into my wii and computer

You cannot connect the keyboard simultaneously to your Wii and computer with this adapter.  One plug is wired for power+data, the other is power only.  The purpose of this adapter is to supply more current (amperage) to devices that draw more than one USB port can supply, such as certain DVD drives or USB monitors.  I would suggest getting a second small keyboard for your Wii.  That way, when not in use, it can be stored alongside the Wii.  There are also flexible roll-up keyboards that can be rolled up and stored in their container inside a cabinet or drawer.

Can I record a video with my mic and use my mic to talk on my ps4

I am pretty sure that the answer is no. My understanding is that this cable is made to overcome a power supply problem.The one I bought did not even do that.

I want to use my headset on my pc and ps4. Could I do this if only using one at a time?

Yes, if one cord is plugged into the pc or ps4 and the other end is plugged into a separate usb power source. I recommend using a usb phone or tablet charger as the power source.
