We're not sure why, but they've enjoyed the box that it came in more than the tent itself. After a month of owning this, the tent still sits empty. So far this little thing has done a great job; although litter still escapes its not nearly as much as before. I can't smell ANYTHING and before my room would reek of kitty poo any time she'd go. The color is a darker brown like a chocolate brown and the blue is pretty much the same color. Mine DID come with instructions and ALL of the parts so I don't know what happened w/ the people that didn't receive the little step ladder but my cat sure did and its too cute to watch her come out of her little tent and walk down the step stool.
