She prefers to sleep warmer than I and was not sleeping well for my comfort alone. This throw being lightweight cashmere added to her side of the bed fixed the problem wonderfully. I' m comfortable and she is toasty warm. I' m very happy I bought one big enough for our dog to have her cut as well. Thank you. Life is short. It is a very nice blanket - very soft, nice material, a good size and nice pattern.It comes in a big plastic ziploc style bag, so I put it in a box to spruce it up a bit for gifting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap cashmere > nice cotton or polyester *by W***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2021* It’s not very thick and not very large. It sheds pretty bad, especially when you first get it. I’ve washed it in cool water and air dryer it twice and it’s held up to both washes fine and after one wash and a few weeks you see it at the state it will stay at. It does seem to be made with bottom of the barrel cashmere but low grade cashmere is still warmer and softer than high-end cotton. The tag says 100% cashmere and I don’t want to disparage the makers but considering the price I wouldn’t be surprised if some wool or maybe even rayon was mixed in at some point in the supply line, but it’s still obviously mostly (maybe all) cashmere. The blanket honesty doesn’t looks too great, it’s got a fuzzy surface almost like angora from the shedding and the color is quite a dull gray BUT I’d still probably recommend it for what I use it for, cuddling up on the couch and watching tv or layering it with my bedspread for a little extra warmth during winter nights.
