Ill be honest, I was skeptical about non-controllable trim and to rely on hydrolic pressure. Mounted as far out as I could . This Girl self mounted these in about 45 minutes. Super easy! I waited overnight for the marine sealanIt to cure and took out "Wet Wiener" the next afternoon. I couldn't be more impressed with the anticipated performance improvement. Seriously, nearly eliminated any porpoising these short Jet boats are known for. We put the tabs to through both calm water as well as choppy water and crossing boat wakes. These tabs are small but mighty! Maybe I lucked out with placement but the performance was more than an exciting difference. Also, they did not sacrifice speed.
