You have your standard array of buttons and triggers, 4 face buttons, two thumb-sticks, four shoulder buttons (L2 and R2 feel like triggers, aren't, they have a click to them that just make them a regular button. Start and Select. There are also MODE and HOME buttons, but these can't be remapped to anything within Android/IOS.There's three modes that you can pair this controller using (Shown on the back of the controller), iOS Mode (2), Android Direct Play (1), and Android Controller (3). I have yet to test this on my iOS devices so I cannot comment on mode 2, however, mode 1 seems to be connecting the controller using the HID interface rather than real game-pad support within Android, meaning you will lose access to your on screen keyboard and some of the buttons won't work correctly, however this should provide more compatibility with older Android devices that don't run an Android version with native game-pad support.Mode 3 is really where this controller shines and is the best way to use the controller for modern Android devices. It pairs seamlessly within seconds. It works great for emulators and games/apps have that have controller support (Like apps that allow you to stream your PC games to your phone). The face buttons and shoulder buttons are clicky and responsive. The dpad is a little more spaced out than I'd like it to be, but it's easy to get used to and can be nice for fighting games.My only con with this controller seems to be the right analog stick and its just an issue that comes with slim form factor designs like this controller. The analog sticks do not stick out too high, meaning that they do not move around much, but also meaning that they are super sensitive with their movements. This wouldn't be that big of an issue if it weren't for the fact that it is super speedy when you DO use them. For all my shooters, I had to turn my sensitivity down super low, else the aim would fly all over the place as soon as I moved the stick. If there will ever be a revision of this controller, I think it should have just simply better analog sticks.Some other weird things, I noticed that it was advertised as having a slab of aluminum on the phone holder part, that's supposed to act as a heatsink and dissipate heat from the phone. Well, I have a Note 9 and the heatsink literally does not touch my phone, maybe it works better for smaller phones, but I can't test that. This controller can technically connect to Windows machines with Bluetooth, however when I tried it, it functioned as a weird half controller/half mouse and was impossible to use because it had mouse AND gamepad inputs.Overall though, I think this is a win purchase, if you're looking to turn your phone into essentially a handheld gaming machine, I think this is one of the best controllers out there ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the most powerful Bluetooth game pad I've ever used! *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2019* I've had a lot of experience over the years using several Bluetooth game pads for my phone like PS3 and Xbox One controllers. I've also tried generic Android game pads that felt of very poor quality and noticeable input lag. This ESYWEN controller is something completely different.I was looking for a portable game pad solution as console game pads felt nice but were too bulky for my traveling needs so this Telescopic game pad caught my interest. It feels very nice, can fit my 6"+ phone in both Portrait and Landscape mode.I opened up the package, turned on the controller and started playing one of my favorite games (Soul Knight) and enjoyed the experience. After I was done playing, I decided to look at the instructions and noticed that it had way more settings and options than what a standard game pad offers. The instructions mentioned that I can customize my controls by downloading an app named "Shooting V3". I downloaded it and HOLY COW am I blown away.Not only does this game pad act as a standard Bluetooth controller but it also LETS YOU MAP TOUCH CONTROLS TO BUTTONS AND JOYSTICKS!!! Seriously, I had no idea this was possible! I can't even begin to explain how much this opens up the possibilities for playing different games that don't provide game pad support. The application lets you not only drag-and-drop what controls/buttons maps to which part of the screen but it also allows for mapping button combos to other parts of the screen e.g. R1 + X would be a separate option that you can pick where it "clicks" on screen.(Refer to my first photo that shows Soul Knight with the Shooting V3 app overlay where you are able to drag-and-drop the different options on-screen.)The Shooting V3 app then lets you save this layout which can then be activated to a game pad button combo e.g. my Soul Knight game pad profile is bound to Home + Up Arrow. You can store up to 4 custom profiles.This is functionality I wish I had with my full size game pads at home but this thing just became my daily driver. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually works!! *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2019* Update: Seller reached out and over-nighted a replacement controller. This one works flawlessly. I've even been able to get it to work on a game that none of my other controllers currently work on. Pretty pleased right now!Tried it on my iPhone 8 plus. Tried on four different games (all listed as compatible in the app). Nothing worked. iPhone recognizes the controller, but it doesn't function in any of the games. Returned.
