Superstar DM-1000 TORNADO
Great mic superstar DM - 1000 Tornado on a Tiger 40A I had to rewire to this radio. Audio super loud Great for the price am happy

Very good audio, way better than the stock mike
works very well, nice loud clear audio, I had to adjust it down a bit to get rid of a squeal

Product worked for a couple hours and then quit
I purchased this unit as a gift to my husband for his birthday. He got it set up in the truck and the next day used it for a couple hours in the morning - it broke after that and hasn't worked since. Nobody can hear him on it and he's tried everything he can to get it working again. This is not a reliable product and was a waste of money!

Great mic!
Very nice mic. I rewired it to a 6 pin plug myself for my RCI-2950. It sounds absolutely awesome. My radio really needed the boost on AM. I am very satisfied with the feel and quality.

Big radio sound, little radio money
Works great on my cobra 29lx after quite a bit of tweaking. Did NOT work on my bearcat 980, even with the plug adapter. Still, I'm quite happy with the way it sounds. Quick cheap install for that "big radio" sound

Best handpower mic now days
This is possibly the best quality modern handpower echo micavailable on the modern market it's the same as the old 2018 turbo mics. I added endless echo to m8ne

Meh.
The echo function is pretty good and the adjustment is easy enough but like a few other reviewers said this microphone caused a squealing sound during transmit. I haven't had the chance to troubleshoot it yet but the radio doesn't squeal with the stock mic.

Very good alternative to the RF Limited Xtreme 2018
The RF Xtreme 2018 is the best microphone hands down, This Workman DM 1000 is a pretty close second. Now that the RF Limited is no longer available this is the next best choice. The two echo knobs are loose and sloppy. I remove the knobs and place a rubber o-ring under them and it helps to keep the knobs firmly in place. Everything else is pretty good about this mic. The echo sounds very good, the audio is deep and loud, the switch seems to hold up pretty well, not like the new scratchy D-104 switches.
