Rollergard Supergard Hockey Skate Guard, Black

These skate guards fit easily and stay on when I walk around. They can fit skates of any size and they attach easily. The rubber is tough but I'm a bkt worried about it breaking over time. But it's still a good skate protector that you can walk on easily and won't come off. Solid build but I have my eye on the rubber holding band because if that breaks the holder is done for.

These are great and can be cut to adjust but since my children will grow we left them alone and work well.

These are so great and easy to use! Love the color and the quality of the material! And love that I can continue to use them as my kid grows in skate size!

I always kept this sharpener in the hockey bag but rarely needed it. Until this one day when right before a game, we stopped at the rink shop to get my kid’s skates sharpened. Long story short, they ruined the blades so badly he couldn’t play. Thank God I had this sharpener with me and was able to fix his skates right on the spot. It saved the game. God bless. Two lessons learned: never trust the shop, and always keep this sharpener with you.

So with my new pro stock skates I have been trying out some new tech that wasn't available back when I last played regularly in the 80s and 90s. I had seen these skate guards used by various people and decided to try them out instead of the traditional skate soakers I had always had previously. So the packaging doesn't do a super great job of explaining how to put these things onto your skates. There are some hieroglyphics that kind of point you into a vague direction of what to do but as a adult man of above average intelligence it took me a solid 5-10 minutes to figure out what to do. To give the hint to everyone else if you were stuck like me, the part that locks onto the back of the skate is removable and you can place it as far up or down as you require to fit the length of your skate. Fitting your skate into the guard takes a little bit when it is brand new. You really have to push to properly seat the toe and to pull the back into the heel. I would imagine this will get easier after using it for awhile and the rubber material stretches out a bit. They seem to protect the blades quite well, I would venture to say perhaps better than traditional skate soakers which while would help keep the blades dry wouldn't always help keep your skates sharpened. Now the manufacturer states several things which I am suspect of; you can walk on them and that they will wisk away water to keep rust away. I am a big guy (6'4, 225) and I am not going to believe that the material can support someone of my size standing on two giant knife blades. As for the the rust thing, I had heard this from various products in the past and I have never trusted it then nor will I now. Do yourself a favor and bring a towel to wipe down your boots and blades before you put the guards back on. While they might do better nothing is full proof. I have had these for a couple of weeks now and seem to be holding up ok. I will check back in a few months for a further trip report.

These are absolutely perfect for my Blade Runner ice skates. You can adjust the thing that holds it on the back of the skate. The thing is, is that one of the customers of this brand. They that it didn't fit, but the thing is, is that they didn't know that you could adjust the roller guard.

I got two wrong skate guards in what I thought was simple to solve for. First one was flimsy and bad, the second one I got was only for figure skates. Thankfully we have Amazon Prime return policy to bail us out. This was my third purchase and the skate guards fit perfectly for adult ice hockey skates (probably for kids too, the key difference is that the hockey skates don't have toe-picks and have a wider tip than figure skates). Would recommend.

Really easy to install. I think there were instructions but it is very intuitive. 1) Remove the two latches from the rubber stopper thing from the bottom grooves and adjust back 2) Insert blade at front of shoe side as close to the end of the curved section of the guard as possible. 3) Place the top of the rubber stopper high on the blade heel as possible an pull the 2 latch points forward as tight as they'll reach. 4) Push latches into furthest grooves they can comfortably stretch to. Guard feels high quality. I don't have any concerns of breaking. Even fit my 6 year old's hockey skates. There's a lot of excess material in the back but she'll grow into them. You could cut off the slack if you were concerned about it or to make walking easier.

Muy funcional para mis patines de hockey

Only skate guards we’ve ever had that actually STAY ON the blade so you can walk on them. We’ve tried several different brands (including popular hockey brand names) and these are the absolute best! Repeat purchase. We’ve bought these time and time again as my son has moved into bigger sized skates over the years.

Muito bom!!

Great value for the price. Does the job and protects skates. Easy adjustment.

Buen producto, cubre perfectamente la navaja de mis patines, es elástico y muy resistente. Voy a comprar otro par para los patines de mi hija
