2 Spineless Prickly Pear Pads
Description
Review: Healthy pads, rooted and didn't rot - Pads came well packaged. This was my first time trying to root pads. I dipped the bottom of each pad in powdered rooting hormone then buried about half inch deep in cactus potting mix. I tried hard not to mess with the pads and they are solidly rooted now after about 2-3 months :) no signs of growth or fruit yet but I imagine it takes a while. Review: Took a while to catch but it lived - Was a little dried but I was able to revive

Be patient - these will take!
Be patient - these will take! We started ours in a mixture of potting soil and sand and are happy to report they have both ‘taken’ and we split into two different pots to give them room to grow.

Small pads that may take a long time to root and grow.

I guess these are okay; tortoises wouldn't eat
Don't know if other turtles/tortoises would like but mine wouldn't eat.
