Smart Weigh Professional USPS Postal Scale with Tempered Glass Platform, Multiple Weighing Modes and Tare Function, Silver Shipping Scale, Platform Scale, 11 pounds/ 5 Kilograms

I purchased the Smart Weigh Professional Scale primarily for use as a postal scale for my small business. I rarely ship large-sized packages or anything more than 11 lbs., so this compact, cordless scale was a perfect choice when reviewing other scales, even though I struggled with the idea I could get a scale around the same price range that was capable of weighing up to 90lbs. In the end, more is not always better used. Additionally, if business trends change, it will function as a food scale and maintain usability. The cordless feature is nice, but not necessarily carbon footprint friendly, and requires the round disc-type batteries as replacement. I keep the plastic tab under the battery to save on life when not in use, and cannot currently provide an accurate battery life expectancy at this time. The small size is also a great space saver. It fits easily into a drawer when not in use. The "on/off" button is self-explainable, and the unit of measure button is easy to switch from oz., to pounds, to grams with a simple push. A well made, compact and convenient product for a good price, worthy of five stars. *Not recommended if shipping large-sized packages within 11 lbs, as it will be difficult to accurately weigh item and see digital readout.

Best scale I've used so far for weighing letters. It's accurate and goes to the hundredth oz. That 0.01 accurate. This is the 3rd scale I tried and this one seems to be best. The others were sporadic, you had to get the sweet spot. Not this one. It is nice, and takes longer to time out too. Would buy again.

We have had this scale for over a year and it works perfectly. We have not had a problem with weighing our packages. It's easy to use and the batteries last a long time.

I've been using this as a postal scale for TEN YEARS. It's so dependable and accurate - see photo with a 100g calibration weight. I don't even remember changing the battery during that time, but I think I did have to replace it once. The two buttons are all you need to turn it on and switch between units. Thankfully it remembers the last unit that was used. It's also relatively thin compared to other scales I've owned, and I like that. I leave mine out, but you could probably fit it easily into a drawer when not in use. The only thing I wish it had was a "hold" button, because larger packages obstruct my view of the screen.

This is a good reliable scale, with a few design hiccups. The platform is glass. Super duper nice for if you have a designated spot for this thing from which it will never move (somewhere far from the edges of your desk/table), but not so nice if you ever drop it. It by no means feels fragile, but will definitely break if dropped on a hard surface. The battery life in this is on the shorter side. For one thing, it came with a 1/2 discharged battery already which was frustrating. But ok, they go bad, it happens. The screen is small-ish but clearly visible. My biggest gripe is that it will do decimal points of ounces but not of grams. So it won't work for very precise measuring (such as for cooking recipes that call for ingredients in 0.5 gram increments). The price is the best part. For $20 you can barely buy a cheap digital postage scale that has a one pound limit. Would recommend, but not if you're butterfingers...

Very easy to use. Turns off to conserve battery. very accurate. I was losing money on my old scale. Would recommend.

I needed a scale for mailings and postage purposes that measured items in pounds as well as in ounces. This scale is just the right size to serve my needs and easy to use. Just 2 buttons and a large digital read out. I’ve only had and used it for one batch mailing but it perform outstandingly. The price is right for this mighty lil scale!
