This system is great for getting and staying organized. Especially if you don't know where to start or if you're looking for a system that is fairly easy to maintain. Once you get it set up and begin to use it. It doesn't take much to keep it going. You will have to do some work but the options they provide make it super user friendly. As someone that was overwhelmed with paper clutter and didn't really know how to keep a filing system (organized), this has been a huge help. This system is so easy to use that what seemed a big daunting project became something rather satisfying. As I saw the system coming together and the papers finding their proper homes it became more motivating. This system is made from great materials and includes personal categories as well as business categories. There there are tons of preprinted labels and then there are a slew of blank labels for you to do personalize. I HIGHLY recommend it if you're interested at all. It's helped to save me time, space and from the stress of drowning in papers that I didn't know where/how to organize them. Now I can file my papers quickly without wondering where it should be filed plus I can now find anything filed almost immediately.

This is the only filing system you will ever need. It's completely worth the cost. It takes time to set up but it is the best organizational system I have ever used for files. If you have overflowing file cabinets or stacks of paper you don't know what to do with, this will fix all of that. Its self cleaning, meaning you wont hold onto useless stuff. It is easy to customize for your unique needs. It even provides a tab for storing your filing guide and extra labels so that you can reference it over and over. You can change things around easily as your needs change. We have a lot of paperwork to manage. Although we try to keep a lot on a hard drive, we've found that we just have to keep hardcopies of many things and in many ways its just easier. Over the years I've struggled to keep it all straight and constantly needed to come up with new systems, as our lives and careers changed. I wish I had known about freedom filer years ago. Its brilliant.

I saw this advertised on You Tube and was excited to try and get our filing system more streamlined. I love how it’s a self cleaning system where papers can just be tossed after two years without having to comb through tons of paper. I am able to just keep what is essential long term. It also keeps important documents in an easy to find manner. I’ve found you can make this as specific or as general as you’d like — whatever fits your lifestyle best. I recommend it for anyone looking to organize all of the paperwork of life!

I purchased this following the recommendation of my LearnDoBecome STEP Mastery organizational program and have been thrilled with the completeness of this system. For the first time in my life I actually know where every paper goes and am not struggling to remember whether my doctor’s notes are under “My Name,” “Health,” K for “Kaiser,” or M for “Medical.” It’s so clear now! The relief I felt upon picking up one of my multiple stacks of “I don’t know what to do with this but need to keep it” paperwork the other day and realizing every single paper has a clear category and an obvious place to go was blinding. Can’t say enough good things about this. My only complaint was that the blank purple resource labels were a different shade than the preprinted ones and it was jarring obvious when applied. Made it look a bit less finished and uniform.

I am a huge fan of this product. I've always been a relatively organized person, but due to a few unexpected events, I found myself buried in papers and unsure of how to get out of it. I knew I had to start from scratch and redo my filing system, but it was a daunting task to decide how to set up my files so they would make sense, be easy enough for other family members to access it and file papers on their own, and easy to maintain so I wasn't keeping every piece of paper forever or doing major shredding every few years. This system gives you enough structure and guidance so you're not left having to make endless decisions on what to keep and how to setup your files, but it also gives you some flexibility with the ability to make your own customized labels and and with a few different options on setting up certain parts of the files. It is a very well thought out system which takes a lot of the decision making pressure off of you, yet it doesn't box you into a complicated setup. I think the labels look very nice and I would much rather use them than try to come up with my own system from scratch and then printing the labels on my own. I highly recommend this product.

This product has reduced my piles. Now, everything has a place and is easy to find. The system does the organizing for me. My husband and I can find anything we need in an instant, nothing gets buried anymore. This year is the first year we will not have to go through the " getting ready" to do the taxes step, because everything is already filed and ready to go. The labels are easy to read, the instructions are clear and concise and even let you know what supplies you will need to get set up. There is enough flexibility in the system to personalize it, but not so much that you are creating a system within a system. I am trying to think of a drawback, but the only regret I have regarding this system is that I didn't begin using it sooner. I absolutely love it!

HOW IS THIS NOT VIRAL!?!? I have struggled with mail and papers for all of my adult life. After losing yet another important piece of paper (which now affects my credit score), I’ve decided that enough is enough. I have tried other systems, started so many file boxes over the years, but I just couldn’t get a system in place. For the first time in my life, something “clicks”. I did have to read the instructions a couple of times, and I still didn’t quite understand- until I started sorting and filing. Then all of a sudden, I found myself paging to the Filing Index, which is included in the instructions. And then the concept just hit me like a ton of bricks driven by a Mack truck. They include a tab to store the Filing index, so I put that in front of my file box, followed by the other tabs included for supplies. I can keep going now, and found that there is a lot of information that I need to hunt down and get into that file box. For the first time in my life, I will feel like a real adult. I am so, so, so very grateful for this. My family NEEDED this.

Others may love this system, but for me it proved a costly mistake. Not only is it too complex for my liking, the small print labels are difficult for me to read, especially against a colored background. I resorted to using a label maker with bold black characters on white tape, & then covered over the provided labels. I would suggest the system's labels may be improved with heavier paper stock, strong black print against white, & restricting color to the border.

A bit complex to start, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fantastic! After fully revamping my filing cabinet, I went looking for a document and easily found it following the labelled tabs.

There is a lot of help online to use this system. Is geared to the USA, but has plenty of labels appropriate to Canadians as well

So much to take in! However, if you have to organize your paper storage, this system works. Taxes, warranties, even memories have a label ready to go. I still have a long way to go in getting it all in one place, but this labelling system is a huge help.
