Just received and applied. The product is black in colour and smells like a mix if coffee poweder and sugar. Is that how it is supposed to be?

hi, it is supposed to be a black powder, that is correct. when you wet it, it will dissolve emidiately. as for the smell, i can not completely identify with your discription. i wish my coffee would smell like recharge!
