GLOSSDAY UV Flashlight Black Light, 100 LED Black Light Flashlight for Dog/Cat Pet Detector, Scorpions Finder

Got this to find dog and cat urine stains and it works. I like the size and brightness of the lights, makes it a lot easier to spot stains than smaller models. Works OK in dimly lit room but the darker the better. I locate the stain using the black light, spray it with cleaner, then drop a sheet of paper on the spot. This way I remember exactly where the stain is at when I turn on the room lights to blot-up the stain. Only knock is needing 6 AAA batteries. A couple of C or D size batteries would be easier. Have used it for only a few days so I can't speak about durability and battery life. It does appear to be well make.

This seems to be a good UV light. I bought it to help with additional detection and clean-up of bodily fluids. We had a family member fall and get a severe injury to the body, which caused excessive bleeding and a trip to the hospital. The blood was all over the floor, which got cleaned up, but since it was right on a floor joint which met to tile, there continued to be fluid coming out from under that joint whenever it was cleaned. I bought this so that I could make sure all it was off the floor. This light really does work wonder and work great. It's bright, and has a concentrated but wide beam, so you can see the area distinctly, and fix the issue. I was able to pick up all kinds of marks on the floors, walls, doors, and door handle areas. The body is made of metal and has good construction. It's a good size to fit in the hand, and has nice ergonomics. There's added checkering in the handle area, and flat spots, to help with gripping the flashlight. All of this is appreciated. The end cap also has a nice lanyard so you can let it hang from your wrist. All around good product. Just be careful of the plastic battery carriers - Usually those are the first thing to harden, crumble, and break.

The flashlight works, but its effectiveness is insufficient when running on batteries; as the batteries drain, its efficiency drops drastically. In my case, I modified it to run on a 5V power supply, and now it works exactly as it should.

We originally purchased a small pocket size UV flashlight, it ended up being useless outside. This casts a much more bright/wide beam. We can go scorpion spotting! And we do, this light reaches the ground from a standing position. We live up north so scorpions are exotic wild animals we only see in zoos. Be nice. This product has survived high humidity & light rain. Construction is inexpensive w/o being flimsy. We don't recommend using it heavy rain.

Love this light. I own an estate sale services company and we are always checking for / photographing uranium glass. This will light up a whole China cabinet at once and help identify it by making it GLOW!

When the batteries are new, the light is bright and the flashlight is effective. But it requires a LOT of batteries and need to be frequently replaced. I'm going to continue to look for one that works as well, but is a better value for the money, because I'm tired of using up all these batteries.

Pointers-vacuum first, or every little piece of anything will show up and works best in the dark. Amazing at picking up cat pee. I also have the smaller one, but this one is way better! I locate an area and then get closer to get a better idea of how big it is and start cleaning/spraying.
