It would be almost impossible to light a cigarette with it. But you could like something else and then light your cigarette with it **Q: Is this kit a two pack?** A: I recieved two in the pack. It requires quite a bit of energy on your end to generate sparks. However. Ferrocerium (the rod's material) is very soft and constant scratching will result in loss of material.
