My grand daughters are 2 and 3-1/2 and they loved the Dino Dig kit. It’s messy and fun. They loved discovering the Dinos. The brushes and little wooden chisel tools are included too. So nice that the eggs are individually wrapped. Have wipes and paper towels and maybe a plastic table cloth ready and have some fun.

I bought this as a gift for my son's third birthday and he loved it! He loves dinosaurs and "finding bones" so this was perfect. I love that it's hands on. Honestly us parents end up digging the dinos out as the rocks are still a little hard even after soaking but it's still just as exciting for all of us. Be prepared to get a little messy but it's totally worth it and cleans up easily. I was extremely happy with the quality of this product. Will be looking for more from this brand!!

My kiddos LOVE dinosaurs. We’ve done excavation kits before that were incredibly hard to get through. These you soak for a few minutes then let the kids have at it. We did them on the kitchen counter with large pieces of paper underneath. We did get a little muddy and messy, I’ll probably have them do the rest of them outside. TOTALLY worth getting. The glow in the dark stickers- think those hard plastic stars you put on your ceiling as a kid. Super fun and my kids won’t trash them in 5 minutes. This kit also comes with a guide for them to identify their dinosaur and gives them some fun facts about each kind. How awesome would this be to pair with books and other activities about dinosaurs. Could even have the older kids give a presentation or report on the dinosaur they find in their egg. I plan to throw a few of these in my suitcase for a rainy day activity on vacation.

This kit was purchased for my 4 year old son and he has loved it. So has my 2 year old daughter and, if I'm being honest, the aunts, uncles and grandparents. We all helped excavate on Christmas morning! This is a very cute kit and the glow-in-the-dark dinosaur stickers are a nice addition to it. My only complaint is that the eggs can be difficult to dig into....we've had one other kit (from a different company) and did not find it so hard to unearth the dinosaurs. My 4 year old hasn't been able to independently crack any of the eggs yet, and I've actually had to really work at getting the dirt removed myself. I recommend soaking them for longer than the time listed in the instructions and with warm or hot water. Otherwise, it is an excellent kit and I know that my little ones will enjoy playing with the tiny dinosaurs for some time!

The kids really enjoyed excavating the dinosaurs. It comes with a dozen eggs and a dozen sets of tools so I could see this being a good thing for dino themed birthday parties or just getting them out one or two eggs at a time for an activity. My kids are 5 and 7 and my youngest took it very slow and methodically chipping away and brushing away while my oldest was more excitedly chipping away and examining what dinosaur he got. They include a sheet to see what dinosaur you got, it's name, what it eats and some details about it. Tips: 1. If you run them under warm water for a couple seconds before starting, it keeps some of the dust down. 2. Using a plastic container, you can keep some of the dust contained. I told my kids that was their work site and gave them their tools and let them go at it. It doesn't get that messy and whatever dust gets out can be cleaned up with a paper towel and warm water.

My four year old son LOVED this. A really fun activity. And it comes with a lot of eggs! My son can’t wait to find the glow in the dark dinosaur. And he loves finding out facts about the dinosaur he uncovers. This would be really awesome for a birthday party activity. I’ll probably buy more and do this!

These were absolutely awesome! My three year old son loves anything dinosaur so these were super cool! I wasn't sure about ordering these for him because he is so young and it's recommended for older children. However, with some help, he loved digging out the dinos and matching them up. The dinosaurs are a little on the cheaper side, but overall, the fun of discovering them in the eggs makes up for that.

This product I got for my kids which are 3 and 4 was amazing for learning about dinosaurs and learning how to use tools and the most important patients. They loved it and I enjoyed it with them and it’s spending time with them and learning thank you. I would recommend this product to friends and family!

My 4.5 year old has absolutely loved this toy. Has kept him busy for about 30mins trying to find the dinosaur.

The pictures are misleading, the dinosaurs are waaaayyy smaller than depicted.
