What is the source of the intrinsic factor?

I have no idea. My family doctor recommended this particular product. I have been using it for the last 3 years. And I feel good.

Where does it say it has pig parts?

It doesn't say anything about pig parts on the bottle. It is my understanding that the intrinsic factor (usually transmitted from a mother to her child through initial breast milk) included in this product comes from the bone marrow of either pigs or cows. Believe I was told this by my naturopathic doctor.

What's in the gelatin? and is it brown or white rice?
