Where are these made?

I have been satisfied with my two. I have picked up a great deal of trash here in Korea outside of our business. There is no shortage of cigarette butts and all sorts of other trash. The only thing that I recommend is that you don't press extremely hard with the tool as a compacting device. Our local friend tried that and ended up breaking one. Thus, I have another 2-pack parked in my shopping cart.

Does this device have locking jaws?

No they do not. I own the folding version, same exact jaws.

How wide are the jaws?

When open, the jaws are 4 inches in width (10 cm). These grabbers are exceptionally good at picking up the smallest item from the floor. I can enthusiastically recommend them.

How much weight can this hold?

I wouldn’t pick up more than roughly 1lb with any grabber not designed for large objects. Not what this is meant for. Intended for papers, cans, small bottles etc. individual clothing items etc.
