Fairly realistic looking candle lights when placed in a candle holder, but benefit from being safer and much longer lasting than a candle. Very good value for money and easy to use with a little switch.

Excellent product and comes complete with the CR Battery The lid to the battery housing has to be turned with a coin anti-clockwise to release the lock, but you then need a knife/screwdriver to prize open the lid to extract the battery Ignore the 200 hours, they started to fade over a period of 40 hours I still recommend them as they work out at 29p each - a new battery would cost more

I just love these candles they look so realistic give out a lovely cosy light that brightens any room. They light up at the touch of a button.

Nice and the remote works well but i prefer a softer light as these are very yellow so loose the cosiness glow. Good value and made well.

We burn through a lot of candles in our house so rather than keep buying and replacing we thought we try out these faux candles. First of all, they have two lighting modes, light which is just a solid static light or candle which causes the small metal fake flame on the top to rock back and forth which gives a very believable look of fire. What's great about the candle mode is that that it also has a slight sound which mimicks the slight crackle of a candle wick. I can't state enough how impressed I am with the candle mode - it very very closely resembles a real candle both visually and how it sounds. The candles themselves have a good weight and very surprisingly for me they actually feel waxy and candle-like rather than plastic. The 3 different heights are great and allow for nice looking arrangements. They each take 2AA batteries each which haven't ran out despite heavy use for around a month. The remote itself is small and compact and generally works well. The timer works perfectly, as does the mode switch (light and candle) and the off button. However the on button for some reason requires 3 or 4 presses for the candles to actually turn on as you can see in my video. All candles react to the remote. I'm very happy with this purchase and now have the candles inside some nice rustic candle surrounds which add to the realism even more. I definitely recommend this for anyone who goes through a lot of candles or who would like real candles but cannot due to pets, young children etc.

Great lights. Perfect amount of light. Lasts about 7 days of being on 24/7 outside in below freezing rainy weather. Have ordered more.
