Be aware - the pegs are in two pieces: blue and pink - you need to remove both
Wonderful product - helped the diabetic ulcer on the bottom of my wife's foot improve immediately, but it returned after a short while. This is because the pegs which you remove to make a cavity under the ulcer are in two pieces: a blue outer piece and a pinkish inner peiece attached to the side of the insert which is against the bottom of the surgical boot. You need to remove both of these pieces or the pink inner pieces will eventuaally come loose and fill up the cavity causing pressure on the wound. Once I figured this out and removed the pink pieces, the wound cleared up quickly.

Does what it's good for....
Had to custom cut to fit my medical shoe (different brand) but fits great. The material is a pain to cut. Everything else was perfect. Had to return one due to sizing not being right based on product description.

Pegs dont stay in place plus break down
These are trash the pegs dobt stay in shape and break down after a week of wearing.i will not buy this product again and recommen you dobt either total waste of valuable time when dealing with a premium ulser.

This system works so well!!! My podiatrist asked me to order a system, to help relieve the pressure on my big toe. I am a diabetic with a small ulcer, and this has really helped to resolve my toe problem. Make sure your doctor customizes this really well!

Black fabric cover was not included.
I've used these inserts for years with my Charcot feet. This is the first time I ordered through Amazon. but the advertised as included fabric cover was not included (helpful in winter). Otherwise, usual great product.

Offloading weight off foot: perfect
Did everything it was supposed to do. Took all the weight off the ulcer on the bottom of my foot. I did have to carve the honeycomb area to the lateral edge of the insert because the ulcer went all the way from bottom to side to top of right foot. It helped me get up and around without any loading on the injured part of my foot. Completely healed in 6 week
