This is overall a good product, if your neighbors are complaining and you want to practice without disturbing them. It has good fit, quality and rebound. the only thing which i didn't like is its thickness as it comes between two hi hat plates and it somehow cannot choke properly. Rest all is good

I’m new to drumming, just got my first acoustic set. I started with electric so volume control was simple.I didn’t realize how deafening acoustic drums can be in a small room, so I was looking at different dampening products. Figured I’d go with Evans, seems to be the most popular brand out there for heads and such.I only got one for the snare to start so I could see how it sounds. It was a good choice! I like the sound better with the chain down though because it seems to overwhelm the sound of the drum.This pad makes the snare surprisingly quieter, brings the volume to a comfortable level and makes it sound solid.I don’t have a 14” tom so wasn’t able to test it on that yet. But I’m about to buy the whole set, so guess I’ll find out soon. I’m curious about how the cymbal pieces are going to sound.So far I would definitely recommend!One more weird thing to mention.. I love the smell of it! Like fresh rubber
