Nice wallet. Slim and not bulky in my husband’s back pocket which was a big deal for him. He likes the quick access to his main card on the outside. The pull tab makes it super easy to get to his remaining cards. The RFID is a plus! Decent price and I expect it to outlast the price we paid. The material does show scratches, but my husband is very hard on wallets and his still looks great after months of use.

Absolutely, thoroughly, continuously IMPRESSED with all things Serman! This last wallet purchase I made from Serman, was my second one & I cannot tell you how pleased both I, & my fiancé were. This was again- a gift for him, & he was so happy I didn’t stray to another maker because of his love for this company’s products. I bought him another wallet (this time, not a money clip style- but a billfold style) in Canyon Red (our favorite color); so, I did my research with my man & asked him what HIS favorite features of the wallet are. Obvious beautiful looks & style aside, here are his most favorite things about his wallet: 1. Even “full”/“at capacity”- this wallet stays slim & comfortably fits in his pocket(s). 2. The easy-pull tab that safely & securely holds his most used cards & I.D., is phenomenal. It snuggly holds them, yet dispenses them in a flash; there is no anxiety regarding this tab ever malfunctioning allowing card slippage, so it’s just one more lovely featured addition Serman has in their line. 3. The wallet itself is just plain, well- sturdy, & not bulky feeling. He loves the strong quality of the crafted leather, stitching, size and shape. 4. This being his second wallet purchased from Serman, he is in love with the color selections (we love the newest color offered- GRAY, which will be a purchase for myself in the near future!), but opted to stick with his trusty Canyon Red because not only is it a lovely, deeply rich pottery type red- when it’s new, but also with eventual everyday use & handling as time goes on the Canyon Red weathers into a gorgeous deep brown auburn! Very needless to say, we will be loyal and lifelong customers to this company & all they have to offer. I really urge anyone who is in the market to buy a wallet, etc. to end your search here at Serman. You will not regret your decision, and yet another plus is whether you need your order in time as a gift, or you don’t need a rush on it- I promise, it will arrive on or before (in our case) your expected arrival date, & impeccably packaged!!!

I love the design intent. Small and aimed for a front pocket. It is smaller than the normal wallets. It is just not as small as the folding ones with the clip. It is still a great wallet especially since it has the RFID protection. I guess I am looking for best of both worlds. Compact AND with bill compartment. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for best of both worlds as I am. This is the most compact I have been able to find with bills compartment in lieu of clip. It is easy to put cards in and out and very functional.

This is a very nice wallet! It is lightweight, compact, and fits comfortably in my front pocket. Looks great and the front pocket slide out feature is awesome. Cons: - The slate grey 2.0 color is darker than the stock photo and has a brownish tint. I wish it looked exactly as the site image but it still looks very nice. - The cash slot is tight and rigid compared to my old wallet. Looks like it would fit less bills and notes. Maybe it will soften with use. Overall, I am very pleased with this wallet and highly recommend it.

Pretty satisfied with this one. Had one similar in the past. This one was cheaper and better quality. Haven’t had it long enough to say anything about durability but it seems pretty solid and well built. Low profile with plenty of room and options for cash and card. I definitely would recommend.

This wallet is not uber slim but it does work well for use in a front pocket (i.e. typically jeans in my case). As well, I wanted a wallet that had a pocket for US bills rather than the money clip or fold-open "wire" clip used with the super compact wallets. RFID protection was a must, and testing this at multiple card readers (mostly gas pumps) has proven that even with an RFID card inserted in an outside "easy access" pocket the protection feature does work. Note that US bills do not fit completely hidden within the currency pocket. About a 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch does stick up above the internal pocket (but to be clear, not above the outside wallet edge). I'm fine with that as the bill denominations are fully covered when the wallet is opened. In regard to "smell", yes if you place your nose right on the wallet's surface it has something of a shoe polish like smell. That's not unexpected as, of course, leather is tanned with strong chemicals. In the couple of weeks I've used the wallet the color is not rubbing off, nor do my finger pick up any chemical odor from handling the wallet. In regard to leather, yes the wallet appears to be genuine leather of suitable weight. Craftsmanship (stitching) is well crafted with all pockets securely holding my various cards. Presently I carry 6 cards in the wallet in addition to my drivers license. I probably could get 8 cards into the wallet without making it bulge significantly (along with say 6 - 8 US bills). The one feature that is perhaps a bit flimsy is the nylon strap that ejects the cards from one of the two outside pockets. This is a really smart access feature, but over time I expect the strap to fray, or the sewn on leather tab stitching to become damaged by abrasion (i.e. gong in and out of your pocket). But on balance this is a 30 buck wallet so I'm not expecting it will last a lifetime. Rather, in normal use I'd be satisfied with 4 or 5 years service -- or more specifically -- looking at the overall sturdy construction of the wallet my judgment is that it should last a good 5 years, or more. I have the melted chocolate finish with its somewhat jazzy orangey interior finish. To my taste it's a good handsome choice. In sum, a nicely designed and constructed slim wallet at a value price.

My previous wallet was a Perry Ellis tri-folio. It was able to hold many cards and cash but was too thick for my liking. This Serman Brands bi-fold wallet is the perfect choice for slimming down. I like that it's made of full-grain leather (highest quality) which keeps me confident it'll last for years to come. It has RFID blocking, a feature not in my previous wallet. I don't have to worry about a thief trying to steal my credit card information with this wallet. There is an exterior slot for the card you use the most, I like this because I don't actually have to open up my wallet, just simply slide it out, it's really convenient. This slot is apparently also RFID protected! The cash area is a bit tight at the moment, I think it will loosen up over time so this doesn't concern me as my intention is to minimize what I carry anyway. The right side has a window with a small open circle to place an ID. The left side has 2 slots for cards, which are horizontal and keep the cards from falling out when the wallet is folded. The feature that actually convinced me to buy this particular wallet was the pull tab section which allows you to place a few cards inside. By pulling a small tab, all of the cards you place in this section rise up simultaneously. This area of the wallet allows me to add any additional cards I may need for a trip without compromising the size of the wallet in my pocket. When you re-insert the card(s), the tab goes back into it's original place. I read that it is a magnetic function. I recommend this wallet if you are looking to slim down on the size of your wallet without losing any convenient features typical wallets provide you. With this wallet I am still able to secure cash and carry a substantial amount of cards. At the time of this review I carry 1 driver's license, 5 credit cards, a business card, and a few dollar bills, yet the wallet is still slim and comfortable in my pocket and very much more compact than my previous tri-fold wallet. Of course there are smaller minimalist wallets you can purchase, but you also sacrifice many convenient features. It comes down to what YOU need. I've had a crappy old wallet that did the job for the past 3 years. Upgrading to this wallet has been a tremendous change! Pros: The wallet is VERY small without anything inside it. However, once you start piling in 7-9 cards with some cash and those loyalty stamp cards, the wallet becomes "normal" sized (still it's smaller than my old wallet with everything!) The 'pull-tab' for your cards is a neat gimmick. It's intuitive and you can cram a fair amount of cards IF you don't have much on that side. Currently, I have two credit cards in the pull tab, then on the same side of the wallet I have my insurance cards (3) and my driver's license. No problems! Cash definitely is a 'tight fit,' meaning that you have to place the cash all the way to the bottom of the wallet. If you don't, the bill will stick out just a smidge. It's not an issue if you're a neat-freak like me, but if you liked cramming crumpled up bills, it MIGHT be an issue. The left side of the wallet (if the clear ID pocket is facing you and the wallet's open) has THREE (3) card pockets- one on the exterior of the wallet with the easy access slide finger thing, and two on the inside pocket. I have my main credit card on the outside pocket and my MoviePass (which I need to get rid of) on the inside. Eventually I'll put my ID on that inside pocket on the left and have a picture with me and my girlfriend (WHEN I GET ONE) where the clear ID pocket is. Cons: To be honest, there's really not much to complain about. The leather does seem to scratch quite easily. I also don't like the (small) logo of Serman Brands in the front of my wallet. If it were on the inside, that'd be fine! The packaging did have a fair amount of plastic (which I think is unnecessary because they used nice tissue paper with the company logo to cover the wallet). The wallet is simple, yet elegant. At a first glance, it honestly didn't look like it would fit all my cards. (I didn't even see the pull-tab pocket until I pulled the tab!). The stitching looks like quality for a single pass (I wish it was double stitched, but then the wallet would be slightly larger. You are back with at 12 month guarantee, so that's good. Only time will tell how well this wallet will last! I have great expectations for it!
