Very strong stuff. I sprayed it half strength around tires of vehicles and inside engine compartments, avoiding the manifold areas to repel mice and squirrels. I do this about once or twice a month and it seems to be working and have seen no more evidence of rodents in engine compartment. We live out in the boonies and have mice issues and I have also sprayed it inside the house (inside the walls only ) in areas where mice have tried to chew through drywall and they have vacated that particular area and stopped chewing. I will say though that the peppermint odor is pleasant at first but becomes a little cloying after a while if you aren't that big a fan of peppermint so beware because it will last a few days. Other than that it seems to be affective in deterring rodents from where it is sprayed but needs to be reapplied a couple times a month.

I purchased this peppermint oil to use in a homemade pest deterrent spray for my garden. The bottle came well sealed. It is very strong, and I only needed a small amount to do the job. When I administered the spray in the evening, insects scurried away immediately. I sprayed on my vegetables and surrounding areas. Even heavily diluted, I could smell the peppermint essence for many days after. I have been reapplying weekly, and no creature has nibbled on my squash or tomatoes. This oil works wonders and I cannot wait to come up with other uses for it. Definitely worth the price.

Good value for the price. You get a good size bottle of peppermint for the price. Smells good and not chemically. I mix this with fractionated coconut oil to use in my diffusers. Works great for me.

I’ve reordered this peppermint oil a couple of times for its value for the money. I use it straight from the bottle to a hand held sprayer to deter the Norwegian rats coming over from the nearby neighborhood. It works great! Just remember to wash your hands after using it, the oil sticks on the skin and can burn your eyes… done that lol! I’d imagine it’d be great in a defuser, I don’t own one, but maybe I should because it smells so good.

Purchased this as a deterrent for persistent rats. They apparently hate it as we have not seen any further evidence of their presence. It is pungent and can be used quite sparingly but the fragrance is pleasant and it certainly seems to do the job. I will definitely purchase again if the need arises and strongly recommend if you want to be rid of rats/mice.

Looks exactly like picture listed. Mine was delivered in 2 days in an envelope mailer - inside was a box that had been opened, luckily the product was a plastic bottle with a simple label and no directions, had plastic tightly wrapped around and was fine. There is NO Peppermint in it at all. The smell is burning my eyes but you get used to it. I needed it for "attic creatures" I was finding Mice/rats/squirrel babies in my BEDROOM! After Baiting 8 traps and catching Nothing - nervous about what to do next, this product appeared while searching around. Not knowing where or how they got there (one looked like baby squirrel, one like baby rat) I then noticed a lot of scratching in the attic directly over my bed... ewwwww! I also heard a lot of scratching in the walls and outside my bedroom windows in the gutters. I read the reviews and they all seemed to say the same thing that this is NOT peppermint, but something else called Mentha Arvesus 100%. Some kind of Corn Oil meant for pleasant smelling Diffusers, candle making, soap and lotion making. Non Toxic but dont eat or touch!? Most of the reviews that I read seem to be referring to people living in the country and using it in their barns to keep the rodents away. It does not kill them but they cannot stand the smell (I dont like it much either and I dont like the way they advertise it as 100% Peppermit Oil, totally false) Whatever it is, after the first application I saw around an 85percent decrease an could "almost sleep" most of the night. I used a squeegie bottle with 2/3 product and 1/3 plain water and sprayed along the baseboards in my bedroom. The Next night was better and today Im on my 3rd night. Im now worried, as this product does NOT kill them where are they going? To another part of the house? In the walls where they can chew up the electrical wires and cause a fire? On the other side, all other products I have seen that are actually PEPPERMINT OILS are only 5% peppermind and all the rest other ingredients anyway, I just wish they had not used the lure of beautiful Peppermint in their product. The smell is somewhat between a cross of Burning eyes peppermint and weak menthol BUT I believe so far it is working and and I hope that the Rodents dont get "used to it" and decide to stay/come back. I would have given it a higher rating had they not used false advertising as Peppermint and they do (they did to me anyway) offer a money back guarantee less then $30 for any reason. Google or search The Ingredient this is which they say is 100% and see what it used for. NOWHERE does its use refer to repelling Rodents!! Good Luck! Yes I used it InSide the house

Fast delivery. We use this for various things. I put some in a small spray bottle for use in the bathroom. Also use it to deter spiders by spraying around doors and windows outside. They do not like this and it really works to keep them away. Will order again. Thank you.

It turns out its a cheap variety of peppermint from "cornmint" mixed with "trietlyl citrate", sourced from India. Not as indicated on the Amazon site.
