How does it do with photos? In the process of scanning mine and sure don’t want to do the task over.

I believe the DPS is high enough you shouldn't notice too big of a quality drop. This isn't no high quality photo scanner. If you are not a stickler for quality this will probably work fine.

Does it come with a software?

Yes it comes with software. Complicated software with a poor UX but it works

The dimensions listed are 13x10x5.8 in, but it seems to be specifically for small items (which is what we need). Are those the true dimensions?

The fi65f true dimensions are 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 1 1/2. Great machine but scan is limited to basically a 4 x 6 area
